Yes! Valens’ version is fantastic. Thanks. I totally forgot Valens released it before Lopez.
Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba” was released in October 1958 as a single by Del-Fi Records.
Trini Lopez’s version of “La Bamba” was released in 1963 on his debut live album, Trini Lopez at PJ’s. It was later reissued as a single in 1966.

Var jag går i skogar, berg och dalar" (wherever I walk through forests, mountains and valleys)--Ingaborg Nyberg (1956)
Wherever I walk through forests, mountains, and valleys, a friend follows me, I hear his voice. He is invisible, but speaks to me, sometimes warning, sometimes comforting. He, my Shepherd, went before me in death, but he lives in all eternity. He follows his sheep and cares for them, nourishing them with unspeakable faithfulness.

“De Zee” is Dutch. However, I’m pretty sure the song was recorded in German. It was a big hit in Europe.

Accroche-toi à ton rêve
Accroche-toi à ton rêve

Quand tu sens ton coeur se briser

This is my favorite version of this song:
I don't watch America's Got Talent, but somewhere along the way it turned into the Gong Show minuc "Gene Gene" and "The Unknown Comic".
