Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba” was released in October 1958 as a single by Del-Fi Records.
Trini Lopez’s version of “La Bamba” was released in 1963 on his debut live album, Trini Lopez at PJ’s. It was later reissued as a single in 1966.
