Thanks to Director Gabbard, we know more about the depth of the conspiracy.
Internal emails released on Friday by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard reveal that after former President Barack Obama ordered an intelligence assessment of Russia’s election influence, a top official in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence scuttled the release of an already-completed intelligence report that concluded Russian had not hacked the 2016 presidential election.
On Friday, Director Gabbard released newly declassified documents, including scores of emails related to a 7-page draft President’s Daily Brief or PDB. That draft PDB, dated December 8, 2016, concluded, “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against election infrastructure.” But hours before the planned publication of the PDB, the ODNI’s deputy director pulled the report, purportedly due to “some new guidance.”
However, the email threads declassified last week indicate the ODNI instead buried the PDB to provide the intelligence community cover to issue a contrary assessment concerning Russia’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 election — and did so, against the recommendations of a wide array of intelligence professionals.
Specifically, on Thursday, December 8, 2016, the “Deputy National Intelligence Officer for Cyber Issues” for ODNI responded to an earlier email from the Deputy Director of ODNI concerning the publication of the PDB. “The room’s thoughts (EEMC, NIO Russia, CTIIC, NSA, FBI, CCI) were that it was worth going ahead with the pdb if possible now to provide our current understanding of what happened during the election, and that worst case the ICA has some language and an associated briefer note explaining any changes between the products.”
So, according to a high-level ODNI intelligence officer, representatives from the Europe Eurasia Mission Center...

If our Intelligence Community is just going to make stuff up, then what is the point of having an Intelligence Community? Let’s break them all into a thousand pieces.
Hopefully, now that “the cats have been “let out of the bag”, the RATS will reap what they have sowed, or—actually—”sewed”!
Of course we all knew it was blatant lying at the time Russia Russia Russia Comey Brennan Clapper Obama treasonous conspiracy.
Until now, no proof and no clarity that Obama orchestrated it. To bring down the elected President of the United States.
The stench is even worse when you consider that, following President Obama’s December 9, 2016, meeting, corrupt members of the intelligence community immediately began feeding their partners in the press fake intel that Russia interfered in the presidential contest to help Donald Trump.
“we know more about the depth of the conspiracy.”
But nothing will come of it other than a huge distraction.
You could go and dismiss 20,000 gov’t workers, if this is the route to take.
the talking points that the Dems have on this are as follows:
1) Trump’s justice department investigated this previously, and found nothing;
2) President has immunity anyway, per the Supreme Court;
3) The Senate Intel commitee did in fact determine that Russia interfered, mainly through social media.
I know, I know, all of these are total BS. But we have to get our counters ready....this is not going to be an easy battle to put these guys where they belong, which is behind bars...
Military tribunals would have an easy time seeing through the BS.
the talking points that the Dems have on this are as follows:
1) Trump’s justice department investigated this previously, and found nothing;
False. The documents were covered up, and the investigation was blocked from many of the important facts. Let the facts out and see where it goes.
2) President has immunity anyway, per the Supreme Court;
False: The Supreme Court didn’t give the POTUS absolute immunity, and certainly didn’t give the POTUS immunity when it comes to using Federal Government and Intelligence to frame and destroy a political rival. These are Acts of a King, not of a President.
3) The Senate Intel committee did in fact determine that Russia interfered, mainly through social media.
Which was based upon information given to them, and not all of the information that was available at the time. Information concerning the tampering was provided by the very same agencies that were part of the Conspiracy to prevent Democratic transition of power.
I say put them to a military tribunal and let them hear the evidence. Certainly valid for all military individuals that were part of the intelligence apparatus that did this. Maybe if they swing, or threaten to swing, they will boldly talk about the ‘civilians’ actions in the process.
We should add that SCOTUS doesn’t affirm immunity for FORMER presidents carrying on a criminal/treasonous conspiracy while not president!
Moreover, the immunity decision is limited to “official” acts...which would be litigated, of course....
