"Wow, time flies!" the president remarked.
President Donald Trump struck a victorious tone on Sunday as he marked the first six months of his second term.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump alluded to some of his accomplishments on the foreign policy and tariff fronts since returning to the White House after defeating then-Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 election.
“Wow, time flies! Today is [the] Sixth Month Anniversary of my Second Term. Importantly, it’s being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President,” Trump said. “In other words, we got a lot of good and great things done, including ending numerous wars of Countries not related to us other than through Trade and/or, in certain cases, friendship.”
He added, “Six months is not a long time to have totally revived a major Country. ‘One year ago our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival. Today the USA is the ‘hottest’ and most respected Country anywhere in the World.’ Happy Anniversary!!!”
Trump notched legislative victories, most notably with the recent passage of the measure he dubbed the “One Big, Beautiful Bill” that included many of his spending and tax cut goals.
“JUST SIX MONTHS into President Trump’s second term, America is safer, stronger, and more prosperous,” House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said in a post on X, marking the occasion. “We’ve cut taxes, secured the border, ignited the economy, and put America First at home and on the world stage. And we’re just getting started.”
Also on X, the White House’s “Rapid Response” account shared clips of Sunday talk show hosts remarking on the whirlwind of events during the first half year of Trump’s second term.

I must say...the heads of every department are amazing and keeping the party together is sometimes difficult...you try and get 550 people to agree.

I repeat, the worst mistake the Democrats made in 2020 was pushing Joe Biden over the “finish line”, and not allowing Trump to serve his second term consecutively. The four-year hiatus was time enough for Trump to come up with a much more effective and well-staged legislative and executive plan, when he was returned to office as the 47th President.
Now the Democrats have succeeded in making themselves just so much roadkill.

The left is forcing a slow walk of deportations.
That wouldn’t matter if the world of tomorrow were the same as the world of today.
But next year wills start an economic boom on a scale people have not seen for a long long time. A couple years of that kind of boom will make people complacent.

When one finally comes to the realization that the old Democratic Party died off years ago and that subversive domestic communists took it over, but kept the name and skeleton of it as a facade to convince the great “unwashed masses” to put them in power, it’s real easy to understand.
Today’s so-called RAT party is made up of violent, radical communists that are hellbent on the destruction of our country as we know it. The facade is over and the mask is off....and everyday, tax-paying Americans don’t like what they’re seeing.

I know how he does it. And it’s amazingly simple.
He’s a successful businessman. Not a politician. He’s focusing on why the VOTERS elected him, not on pleasing donors nor his party. And he learned from his mistakes in his first term. This is going to be a whirlwind four years.
And one of the reasons I say that is that the opposition is going absolutely bonkers and it’s only going to get worse. Think “the battle of the bulge”.
