If it were me, and I’d just won a large judgment based on my claim that I experienced forceful sexual assault in a department store dressing room by an aggressive and powerful man who towers over me, an experience that caused me severe trauma after the event, I wouldn’t write a book capitalizing on one of my attackers most iconic catchprases, and I certainly wouldn’t be tweeting about him nonstop, nearly thirty years after the act at the center of my lawsuit.
I would want to block that man out of my life as much as possible lest his name, face, or anything that reminds me of him trigger my trauma. Rape is a horrendous act, and no one experiences it without deep and lasting wounds.
But, E. Jean Carroll is a strange old spinster who doesn’t act in any way like any other known rape victims: just a few weeks back, she released a new book titled, “Not My Type: One Woman vs. A President” which plays off of Trump’s testimony about how she was not someone he does, or ever did, find attractive.
And, if you look at Carroll’s X feed , it’s saturated with Trump, Trump, Trump.
To the average outsider, attention-seeking behavior of this magnitude would no doubt be considered a bit manic and obsessive.
Yet, it’s hard to really put myself in E. Jean Carroll’s shoes, because I’ve also never been so consumed with thoughts about what I would or would not do to have sex with Mr. Trump that I had to discuss it on social media, and I didn’t have an obsession with The Apprentice. I was forced to watch it in my tenth grade marketing class with Mr. Long, and I couldn’t have been less interested.

E. Jean is a Gonzo journalist who took her ideas from Hunter Thompson.
The essence of “Gonzo” journalism is fabrication for sensationalization. Thompson made no apologies for lying and exaggerating his writing, it was supposed to be “satire”. The standard excuse.
The point is to exaggerate to get a result, typically political: the standard way the Left hypes up non-incidents or even simply fabricates them as “evocative” and then tries to use that as a club over someone’s head.
IOW she’s been lying all along, it’s a cosplay to “evoke” the essence of Trump’s oh so terrible character. The fact that it’s a fatuous lie is merely incidental. The important thing is, it’s how they feel about him.
NOTHING she says has any truth.
Desperately seekig relevance and attention in order to monetize it so she can afford hee NYC lifestyle.
She’s run out of money and supporters and the appeals are holding up her payout (which still may be junked by SCOTUS).
After the judgement is reversed in a Civilized Court where the rule of Law is accepted, then Trump should counter sue her into oblivion.
Remember she did say rape was sexy. It just pissed her off a lot when Trump publicly said she isn’t his type. That made her need to come up with a book nobody cares about because she is a nutcase leftist old white woman and old leftist white women never shut up.
I believe him because she isn’t his type. He didn’t have to find a woman in a department store dressing room if he wanted sex.
That whole trial was a sh-tshow. Didn’t identify when it happened (Trump had journals of his activities and where abouts), no witnesses, no evidence, no report to police, etc. Only in NY (or CA, WA, OR) could a trial like that happen.
She’s going to say something that will re-open the case.
Is she reminding the world how exciting and sexy she thinks rape is?
There’s a great talk show host in NYC,Mark Simone (a big Trump supporter),who’s said a number of times that asking all the friends he has at Bergdorf’s not a single one of them recalls ever having seen DJT in the ladies’s department there.
