Democratic National Committee Chair Ken Martin has warned that Americans will "die" as a result of Donald Trump's “big beautiful bill,” after Congress passed the president’s signature domestic policy package.

The House narrowly voted to approve the bill Thursday, which includes massive tax and federal spending cuts. The legislation will now be sent to the president, who is expected to sign it on Friday.

Martin said the bill’s provisions means Americans will "starve, lose critical medical care, lose their jobs — and yes, some will die as a result of this bill."
