Very good. No pain is quite encouraging.
I don't think my hip has recovered from the BMB yet. I am still in pain from there but it extends down into my thigh. I have been trying to get to a friend's house and enjoy her gorgeous swimming pool, but the outside temp in only 83F. So, I think I will pass. Our weather has been so weird. Lots of overcast days to keep the temps down and so much afternoon rain.
What happened to your hip?

I thought 83 would be fine for swimming - but then I never go in our pool, so what would I know!
And we were lied to. The avg summer high was supposed to be 85! We’ve had 2 months of 87-93, it’s been awful. Ok, not really, nothing like Bakersfield over 100, sometimes over 110. I forget to be grateful. I’ve never once gotten 2nd degree burns from my steering wheel or felt squishy asphalt here, so it’s all good. LOL
You’ve sure been through the wringer as of late, CB. My heart goes out to you. I hope it all goes well....keep us posted.

I had a bone marrow biopsy. I didn’t have back pain in this area until then. (The BMB results were very good. My Waldenström’s in not active.)
I am very much affected by cooler temps, more so than normal people, so 83 doesn’t keep the water heated sufficiently.
Here is the small bounty I have been getting from my small garden. I am so proud of myself for finally growing something. Last year when I tried it was a disaster. I am hoping I will have some cantalope this fall. I finally saw a bee on the flowers today so hopefully they are polenating them.
What all have you ladies gotten from your gardens? Cotton you said you picked some lettuce. What else?

It’s been so humid here I can barely breathe. I had been looking for places to live to avoid so much snow but now I want to avoid humidity too.
I’ve been too sick lately to even care where I am.

Hey Judy! I’m a stickler for things matching too! My kids still make fun of me because our Christmas tree could only have matching ornaments that coordinated w/ living room.
I broke down and got a 2nd tree for family room, which was strictly black and white, so they could hang the ornaments they made.
To this day my underwear color has to coordinate with what I’m wearing, even though hopefully no one will ever see it!

I am sorry you have been ill. Avoiding both humidity and snow has been the search of many of us. Let me know what you find. I suggested to my kids New Mexico, but for some reason they don’t like that idea.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so sick. I blame the weather, too. Has it been horribly hot and humid? I hope you’re better soon.
I laughed at your post, so much. I make sure my undies match my clothes as well lololo. OMG we must be crazy! And my earrings have to match, and there’s no way I put yellow gold and white gold on the same day! And for the summer I bought some of those “slide” shoes. Cheap and uber comfortable. How many pairs did I buy? One black, one pink, one blue, one green and one grey, of course! I had to have a pair to go with every color combination for the summer lol.
My one deck has new cushions this year - combination of beige with an orangy red flower, a yellow flower and green. What color is my big plant on that deck? You guessed right! Orangy red geraniums and yellow million bells with the greenery. And my hummingbird feeder, you ask? Oh, well that is red with yellow flowers. My larger deck on the back is all gray, deep red with some black and white accents. Hummingbird feeder there is all red, no yellow flowers.
I won’t even get started about the inside of the house! Suffice it to say that when I ordered my accent chairs for the living room, I got matching cushions made to sit on the chairs as well as the sofa and loveseat.
I completely “get” the ornament thing lol!
