“Is HVAC something more than a/c?”

Yes! It is the whole unit. Inside gas furnace and the outside air-conditioner unit.

I should have shopped around before getting it but it went out when temps were about 110. I was to miserable to keep having different companies come and give me quotes and more and more time going by before getting one. My youngest daughter and son-in-law had this company replace theirs a few years before mine went out and they were satisfied. They got a different brand then I got though, and it was before Covid. If I had gotten the brand they did it would have cost me even more. Prices skyrocketed after Covid.

Very sharp. I would love to see pictures of your sweaters. I am positive they are stunning.

I love red or red tones.

See the color red in this carpet. My swag drapes are this color. My car is this color. The gables of my house are this color. The paint colors of my house are Croissant, (yellowish tan) and the gables are Sun dried tomatoes.

This was my Dusty who had a siezure and died in my arms while I was rocking him. :-(

He died knowing he was being held close by the one who loves him the most. What a gift to him, and also to you, as you can be comforted with the knowledge that he was aware of you and your love. You did well with your Dusty. (((((Spunky)))))

Everyone has their own favorite colors that bring them happiness and/or peace. Most of the rugs, truth be told, that I’ve had use some tone of red as their base color. My dad loves red and had all his cars red.

I had success with my Toshiba AC

No booklet. No diagram just A1 Google

Took it to front deck, drained water. Took apart everything that was detachable. Checked tubes & probed, cleaned all filters and gave her a nice bath

Been working 2 hours. I bought it two years ago from Home Depot for $400

And the Mexican meal turned out wonderful!

Was gojng to watch movie End of all Fears but tired. Might wait til tomorrow and get an rarly start

Dusty is gorgeous. Boy how we miss our babies! I still have tearful days over my four pups

The rug is very nice! Bred is a prominent color in atea rugs ive noted

Id hate a red carpet. My preference for allergies n cleaning is no rugs. Tile or wood

The whole place was not what one would describe as elegant but just striking/distinctive. The futnitue came with it. Every jr officer had furnished shed. Lving room tropical heavy bamboo and thick cushions. Brecalling a light mustard yellow. The red pillows on them worked well. I used same fabric and made aboutva dozen. I left them for new folk also

Most of the junior officers it was their first tour and they didnt have many decorationg accessiries. We had an Westpac assignment prior and got a lot of Indian and other export items.

Yes, red meat. I will make that exception.

“you can be comforted with the knowledge that he was aware of you and your love.”

He and one of my other dogs died at home. The other one was under my feet at my computer desk. I didn’t know she had died untill I called her to come to bed and she didn’t come. Both of these dogs belonged to my Step-father and I got them when he passed away.

These two I feel comfort at their passing, but those that I have had to put to sleep I feel so guilty.

So glad you got your AC working. Googling can help with a lot of things.

My husband had an electric wheelchair and I ride it up to the mailbox on occasion. Today everytime I hit a bump it would stop instantly. I googled and Youtubed and it gave lots of things that may have gone wrong and how to fix them, but it is to complicated for me. :-(

Losing any pet is tough.

First of the year I had two of our old-timers pass away under my desk about two weeks apart. "Acquired" them (picked 'em out of the ditch in front of The Homestead) about the same time and even though they were One-so-big/One-so-small, they became inseparable in life as they were in dyin'.

Guess it's a good thing some people just throw their unwanted pets out so others can pick 'em up, make 'em family and get to morn their passing.

Have to make some more space to bury pets I guess.

Ah that makes sense, price wise.

That’s a shame, Spunky. If there’s anything we non-spring chickens needs when it’s hot and humid, it’s an unreliable cooling system.

I think that’s actually one of the reasons I’d never own a pet. It just hurts too much when they die, especially a dog.

How nice, Vet, that they got to spend their last days on earth with you - ya done good.

Ah, now that red is different. I was going to say earlier that I like the red accent cushions on my deck because they’re not bright, fire engine red, they’re a deeper wine red. I like it when it’s burgandy almost.

Having said this, I like red meat, red wine, red peppers and red licorice lol.

I hear you.
Five of my six dogs have been rescues. Each one had a distinct personalty, and I loved them all.

So sweet of you! Nothing is planned yet but I’m hoping hubby will rise to the occasion. If not, I’m going to call Silver Angels - they’ll help with medication, everything after the surgery that i know he won’t help with.

BUT one day at a time. Today is a good day! No pain.

And I pulled the lettuce from the garden - got all the seeds I need for the fall crop and next year’s crop.

I get to lift 20 lbs, which I am grateful for. That’s actually quite a bit and shouldn’t be very restrictive.

Although - there’s a couple things that are out of the question now - no getting a big dog and traveling with a suitcase. So much for Italy unless I find someone strong to go with me that can handle 2 cases. Not likely!
