Hi back!!
Monday and Thursday is cat colony feeding day for me. And it was cold this morning! And they were waiting for me, poor little angels. I hated leaving them in the cold, it’s going to get to 10° tonight. There are some shelter boxes with straw, but not enough for everybody. I think the colony grew.

The kittens are doing pretty good. They’re still cautious and back up when I get close to them. But they love getting petted! They’re little eyes close and their body just relaxes. So sweet. They also like treats so now I can bribe them.

I just went upstairs and forgot to get pictures. I’ll try tomorrow. The little girl is cute, she has more brown with speckles. Her brother is gray, with very vivid stripes. He likes to put his ears down until he gets petted they both like their little faces rubbed, she will close her eyes and just relax. I wonder if it reminds them of their mother, getting groomed and washed. That’s a big part of the mother baby relationship. Those mothers sure do work hard. I worry that the mama isn’t being taken care of, and of course is worried about her babies.
