Even though my mother’s ancestry is British, I am not a tea expert.
What I have found is that tea in the morning is useless. It just doesn’t pack enough of a punch. Only tea in the morning if one isn’t feeling well.
Now, contrary to that, coffee anytime after the morning just doesn’t do anything for me. If I want a hot drink in the afternoon, tea is it! Best enjoyed with a couple of biscuits - shortbread if possible lol.
When under the weather, always tea, never coffee. In the morning, always coffee, but only one. Rarely do I have a second cup.
It’s kind of like the coffee is the real shot of wake-up, and the afternoon tea is a booster shot lol. Oh, and Earl Grey Tea is delightful. Herbal teas? Not for me. Too foo foo.
One amendment to Judy’s Rules for Tea:
When you are going to enjoy a biscuit with your tea in the afternoon, no Earl Grey. Lol it’s not the kind of tea that goes with a cookie. I think that’s it! Sorry you asked lol?

Everyone loves to live in or visit Maine, but then the rubber

All right I have to try Judy’s rules. I’m going to take a break mid afternoon and have tea. I need to find some biscuits. And Italy My grandmother used to have these little flat tasteless biscuits, but we put Nutella on them. I think that would be lovely. Except Nutella has milk. And hazelnuts. So plan b.
I’ll put Earl Gray on my shopping list. What do you put in yours, sugar, milk, lemon? I don’t think we really do milk here if I’m going to do the whole tea experience I might have to try. I think lemon would ruin the flavor.
Well-protected yes! Sadly they probably need to hire their own bodyguards. Which wouldn’t be cheap. The left is becoming more and more evil. Killing and threatening people that expose fraud, that’s just ..I have no words.
