Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth received an opportunity to put arguably the most despicable Pentagon reporter in her place today, and it was a sight to behold.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Hegseth delivered a masterclass performance during a Pentagon press conference on Thursday, in which he tore into their slanderous coverage of U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities. Reporters immediately sought to play down the significance of the strikes and accused the Trump administration of exaggerating the accomplishment.
Even more absurdly, the top takeaways some reporters, including leftist Fox News Jennifer Griffin, was Hegseth supposedly disrespecting females by saying, “Our boys on those bombers.”
After the briefing, Griffin posted, “Defense Secretary Hegseth: ‘We were able to destroy nuclear capabilities. And OUR BOYS in those bombers are on their way home right now.” Fox News has learned that at least one of the B-2 pilots who took part in the Iran mission was female.”
“Do you have certainty that all the highly enriched uranium was inside the Fordow mountain?” she inquired. “There were satellite photos that showed more than a dozen trucks more than two days in advance. Are you certain that none of that highly enriched uranium was moved?”
“Of course, we’re watching every single aspect,” Hegseth replied. “But Jennifer, you’ve been about the worst, the one who misrepresents the most intentionally what the president says.”
To think these two were once colleagues.
A shaken Griffin promptly took issue with Hegseth’s comment and started trying to justify her so-called reporting during the raid. Hegseth, though, did not back down.
Instead, he closed the exchange with a blunt and quick-witted response when she tried to interrupt him again.
“I appreciate you acknowledging the most successful mission based on operational security that this department has done since you’ve been here,” he quipped.
Trump later responded to Griffin’s silly question on Truth Social as well.
“The cars and small trucks at the site were those of concrete workers trying to cover up the top of the shafts. Nothing was taken out of facility. Would take too long, too dangerous, and very heavy and hard to move!” Trump wrote.
It was obviously an attempt by Rupert Murdoch and neocons to push Trump into more military involvement in Iran.
I thought it was legit question. She asked about the photo of all the vehicles in front of the site a day before the bombing.

I think Griffen was the main one to propel the lie in Trump’s 1st term that he called dead WW2 soldiers “suckers” at a cemetary in France.
Hegseth and Jennifer Griffin seem to have issues, dating back to their Fox News days. He refused to call on her earlier this week.
She might have been one of those fake news leakers about Hegseth at Fox.
Griffin is a spokes hole for the “deep state” intel agencies.

Hegseth has to deal with them. Yes he’s going to fire back. Trump would never say to him watch your language when you’re telling an anti American to back off. So he doesn’t hesitate. It is a good thing.
There was no way Iran was going to move those materials on the surface, they would have been sitting ducks for the Israeli air force who were obviously monitoring the location.
Keeping them deep underground was the only chance those materials would survive
