German government pulls a sneaky, condemns an old folks housing complex then renovates it for the migrants

You (probably) don’t hate leftists enough.

Here’s the gist of the story, from Thomas Brooke’s new report at Remix News today: the German government pulled a sneaky, condemned an old folks housing complex, and forced the residents to find new accommodations before demolition day… before city officials “scrapped” the plans and changed course. Now, on the taxpayer dime, the city of Bargteheide will renovate a number of units while the rest will remain as-is, ready to house… migrants.

As reported by Abendblatt, Mayor Gabriele Hettwer defended the decision, saying all cost-related issues had been resolved and that a full renovation was unnecessary. ‘The costs for the removal of mold and other renovation measures are manageable,’ she said, noting that a preliminary building application would determine whether the entire complex could eventually be used.

Yet, none of the original residents were given the opportunity to move back into the homes that were theirs:

‘I feel very comfortable here and have lived here for 20 years,’ senior citizen Frieda Miller told SHZ previously. ‘I’m good here, here I have my home, my flowers, a nice apartment that I can pay for.’

‘The apartment is really well designed, everything can be reached from here, and there is also a lot of nature. I would like to stay here,’ added fellow resident Dagmar Pardubitzki.

Reports like this (this is not the first time Germany has evicted old people to make way for third world foreigners) always make me think of Margaret Atwood’s Torching the Dusties, a short-story that details a tale of angry young protestors who are united under the fictional “Our Turn” movement. The premise is that the older generations are a drain, using up precious resources, and now it’s someone else’s “turn” to live well—the youngsters grow increasingly aggressive with elderly citizens, and eventually launch...

Tito and Stalin used to move ethnic groups around, mixing them with one another as a way to maintain power and weaken populations so they couldn’t rebel. Surely the EU wouldn’t do such a thing, would they?

Goodbye Germany, if that’s how you treat your own people. So instead of taking over the world, Germany will now become a third-world hellhole ruled by sharia.

Go on a few FR threads where they are whining at high volume about "Boomers".

If they are still working "de is keeping all the good jrebs!" If they are retired, "de is greedy" because of SS. If they live in the home they bought years ago, "de is hoggin all the good housing". If they sell for enough to buy a smaller place they are "buying up all da cheap housing".

It is quite tiresome.

Of course they did. Krauts are the scummiest people on the planet. Imagine a nation of greasy Han construction vendors. That's Germany.

Little Boy and Fat Man were dropped on the wrong country.

I think living among mold is not a great idea. I’m glad I hey got the heck out of there before their health was affected. Heck it might already have destroyed the lungs and other areas of the body.

I’ll just say (from 20-odd years of living in Germany)...probably 10-to-20 percent of all apartment buildings built before the 1970s...has some mold-mildew issues. So if they kicked normal folks out, and instead went to a renovation program to ‘resolve’ the situation for ‘guests’ (migrants) to move in....the odds are heavily in favor of the mildew/mold continuing to be there after the migrants move in.

Having lived around Germany for 30-odd years...I’ll just say this is a common strategy.

My son attended a school in a building that badly needed renovation. The year he wrapped up...the district agreed to a 1-milllion Euro renovation project. Two years later as they were done....the school district shipped all the ‘average’ students out of this structure....to a different district school....then made the old building (now modernized) only for gifted students.

If you go digging....in each German state...there’s probably twenty-odd projects a year done like this.
