RIP Phill
A righteous, God-fearing man.
No more words necessary.
RIP, sir. You will be missed.
He was inspiring and courageous. God bless his bereaved family.
True man of God. He had such a deep faith.
He’s with the LORD, now. What a blessing!
I lost my mom to dementia 2 years ago. The day after my 60th birthday. God gave me the most incredible gift. About 2 weeks before she passed, she and I had a long personal conversation. She was lucid and told me she understood what was happening to her, that she was at peace and ready to go home. Strong woman of faith ready to step into the arms of our Father and our Savior.
The story of Phil’s depravity, repentance and salvation is well-chronicled and a true inspiration. It left him with a burning desire to introduce as many others as possible to the Lord Who had rescued him—and he surely did.
Phil fought the good fight and kept the faith. I look forward to enjoying his eternal companionship.
‘You do not grieve like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.'”
Amen!
RIP Phil, we’ll all be seeing you on the other side.
Good man,Godly man..rip..
“Lost my wife of 42 yrs four and a half years ago. Toward the end she feared and hated me.”
I’m so sorry. My in laws have been married 67 years. My Father in law has been hit and kicked and cussed at. Same with my wife and her sister. She says really hurtful and horrible things. Then she can be sweet and her normal self for a few hours. It is so obvious that it is the disease. It is really a bizarre and horrible disease.
Very sad news, but he is now with his Lord, Jesus Christ. A great place to be.
Reading Phil’s story touched me deeply. I always hoped to go to the church of Christ he and his family attends and to actually meet Phil someday. Now I look forward to meeting him when we’re both in our eternal home. I praise the Lord that He changed Phil’s heart and used him to share the Word of Jesus Christ with so many around the world. I know Phil is now hearing his Lord say, “Well done good and faithful servant”.
The very best place to be, indeed.
Condolences to the Family and Friends. Phil is in a much better place than we are.
‘wife of 42 yrs’.......early onset version.
They both suck.
Let’s honor Phil and move on :)

My mom died at age 93 on Christmas Day 2024, but she had Alzheimer’s. Couldn’t remember that she had been married to my Dad. Said, “I was never married to him.” It was interesting, she went from being a firecracker to being the nicest little old lady you would ever want to meet. There were times I would call and she would tell me a “friend” was there helping her with laundry and when I would ask what friend, she couldn’t remember. The “friend” turned out to be my sister.
