A 25-year-old Southern California man has been identified as the attacker who detonated a car bomb outside a fertility clinic in Palm Springs Saturday — killing himself and injuring four other people, according to sources.
Guy Edward Bartkus, of Twentynine Palms, is believed to have detonated an explosive device in his car outside the American Reproductive Centers, which performs IVF treatments, egg collections and other procedures, law enforcement sources told The Post.
On Saturday, FBI agents swarmed his home and evacuated the neighborhood, declaring it a “blast zone” over concerns that he could have left explosives behind, ABC7 reported.
During a late-night press conference, Akil Davis, assistant director in charge of the FBI’s Los Angeles Field Office, confirmed the agency was handling the investigation but declined to say whether the raid was directly connected to the recent fatal explosion outside an IVF clinic in Palm Springs.
The FBI had confirmed the suspect was the sole fatality of the bombing.
Tactical teams, armored vehicles, including bomb squad units in full gear, surrounded the house. Those on the ground heard a loud bang and officials yell “fire in the hole,” which is common during a controlled detonation, the outlet reported.

With this kind of story it is what they will not tell you that is more important then what they do tell you, also how long the story has “legs” is important to note.
It will take a few days before we know which way this story is going to go, it may be dumped down the memory hole by next week.

I heard on the news that this guy is one of those who believe that nobody should be brought into the world without their consent. I don’t get the ‘logic’; and I’ve only seen that referenced in one report.
(There are lots of people who are against IVF because it often involves the ultimate destruction of embryos that are not used. So far, that doesn’t seem to be this guy’s issue.)
He was an absolute nutjob. He set up a webpage to post his “explanation” and a stream of the suicide bombing of the clinic. I’m not sure “extreme left” fully captures his views, but he is way beyond even retards like Greta Thunburg. This site won’t exist pretty soon. In fact, I find it a little suspicious that it’s still up this morning.
I would like to know how a 25 year old had the knowledge and potential to build such a bomb.

Andy Ngo has done some good research into the background of this guy, if you are on Twitter aka X, the look up Andy Ngo, the guy evidently published a Manifesto before the bombing, one of the sick things this guy wrote was that he would choose Satan over God, if he believed in any sort of religion.

Trump recently expressed his vigorous support for IVF, ergo those with severe TDS have no other choice but to vigorously oppose it.
Not from what I read last night, he claimed to be “anti - life”. He said “I never asked to be born.”

There are anti-abortion people on this website who are generally against IVF. it has to do with their concept of life and when it begins, not their politics.
Reading. Knowledge of chemistry. So many people think explosives and firearms are difficult or exotic in some way. These are “base arts”, really.
With ivf, there are more than one embryos. So basically you are killing off the others.
