The Dumbest Phrase in our military history is "Our Diversity Is Our Strength."
Our Strength is the AMERICAN WARRIOR.
They never get the applause. They never get the headlines. They never get the bright lights, they never get the microphone. No one's heard their stories. No one's familiar with their stories. One of the dumbest phrases in military history -- "Our Diversity is Our Strength." Our shared purpose is our strength. We are one DOD Community with the same mission...we are American Warriors.
Very worth watching, especially when you think of liberal heads exploding when the watch it!
If diversity was strength, Austro-Hungary would have won the first world war.

Excellent comment. Diversity is something to be managed. It is not something to be celebrated, and maximized.
“Diversity is our strength” is the biggest load of bovine excrement since the statement “yes, the Titanic IS iceberg proof”
Diversity is NOT our strength.
UNITY IS OUR STRENGTH.
DESPITE our diversity.

What a refreshing change. The communist Democratic Party has to be flipping out more every day.
Can I rephrase just a bit? Unity despite our diversity is our strength. I love that. Bumper sticker that puppy!
I think this phrase originated with corporate quality circles. Prior to those, problems were solved by a specialized engineering team who largely had no experience with the product or processes. The diversity part was to include a diverse cross section of employees who brought different and often vital views to the problems. Then, HR picked up on the word, but not the context and we were off and running in stupid social directions.
Cancer is a diversity of cells. All hail diversity!
He’s correct!
A little diversity is good. A lot of it is bad. Like with everything, moderation is the key.
Please provide the link for this.
Sorry. Never mind. It’s at the link.
“Diversity is our Strength” just doesn’t carry the same message as “Death from Above”
The Austro-Hungarian Army did NOT have trannies, nor women, or even people of different races in it. Granted, there WERE people that after 1919, were then in different countries, in it. Many were NOT crazy about the fact that the Hapsburgs were intractable re FREEDOMS for Hungary, for instance; however, that, alone, did NOT cause them to not fight well.
That depends on the actual diversity.
A diverse collection of pistols, rifles, M-50s, grenades, mines, artillery, and even bayonets provide strength.
I don’t understand what you’re asking. Are you trying to say that the Austro-Hungarian army was not diverse?
The Austro-Hungarian military drew from a massive mish-mash of nationalities, none of whom even spoke the same language
“Diversity” was much oversold, and for the wrong reasons. God, nation, home and family are the unifying principles of patriotism.
Diversity is the termite infestation that weakens the overall structural integrity of that edifice.
