WASHINGTON (Reuters) -President Donald Trump, after complaining about it for years, signed an order to lift restrictions on water pressure in showers on Wednesday, saying he wanted to "take care of my beautiful hair."
Trump's executive order is aimed at reversing efficiency and water conservation steps taken by the last two Democratic presidents, Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
According to a White House fact sheet, Trump will "end the Obama-Biden war on water pressure and make America’s showers great again."
Trump directed the Energy Department to rescind a rule begun by Obama and brought back by Biden that limited the flow from each showerhead on the market to 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters) of water per minute.
The order lifts water restrictions on basically any appliance that uses water, such as toilets and dishwashers.

We just drilled them out.
Yep, drilling the restriction was easy enough
What we need now is a toilet flush valve permitting more than the flush volume restriction now imposed
omg.
My father’s new washing machine puts about TWO INCHES of water in the bottom of the washer in the ‘high’ water setting and desperately tries to flip the laundry around, hoping to dampen some of the clothing. I can’t even explain the outright rage I felt as I explained to my father about how democrats’ entire existence is to destroy happiness in everyone and how much self hatred they have to have in order to do that.
I’m a landlord. I installed all new plumbing in an older unit. The existing client was very unhappy. The water pressure was too low. There were ridiculously small restrictors. I drilled out the ones I could and went back to an older unit where it was impossible. The thing is, with the new units everything took three times as long. The same amount of water used, but you had to stop everything and wait. Very annoying. Brought to you by the same people who designed your gas cans.
Good, now fix U.S gas cans.
When is he going to direct the reopening of power plants such as this

a national security matter???
“Water pressure”/”showers”??? C’mon, man.
Lol. Me to. It takes about 30 seconds.
Same with the CA CARB mandated gas cans that are now everywhere. Just drilled out all that crapola. Now they pour like they are supposed to.
I don’t know how to do the toilet tank.
We bought the Commando 450 shower head. You can take a complete shower in about 15 seconds because the pressure blasts you clean without soap.
Now bring back washing machines and dishwashers that actually work and don’t take 4 hours to do their job and we’ll be good.
Water is an in and out process You’re not saving a damn thing.
Cities sink and underground reservoirs are drained for years or centuries.
My Toto 1.28 gal flush works great and it helps reduce the load on the leach field. It took forever to make that engineering work, though.
Before he sold his biz, the owner of our plumbing company told us the low flow mandates were putting his kids through college...
I found a way to “cheat” with my new low level washer. It senses the weight of the load and fills accordingly with water. So I take a empty coffee can and fill it with hot water from the sink next to it, and add the water to the load. It senses the new weight and fills accordingly.
I have a sink next to my washing machine with a hose on the hot water.
Before that I used a pitcher.
Fill’er up!
I wonder why they keep making these useless machines the same size as always. The tubs should be half the size for all the water they hold, and we’d save on production costs. :/
WASHERS FOR LAUNDRY ARE PARTICULARLY “UNDER WATERED”
I have one about ten years old that fills up about 2/3 of the drum. I do add more with a pitcher if I have a blankie or comforter.
