Missouri’s attorney general wants to know what former President Joe Biden didn’t know and for how long he didn’t know it.

In a post on X, Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey said he wants the Department of Justice to open up a can of worms by investigating whether Biden’s deluge of executive orders and pardons that marked the final weeks of his presidency came at a time when Biden had no idea what he was signing.

“I am demanding the DOJ [investigate] whether President Biden’s cognitive decline allowed unelected staff to push through radical policy without his knowing approval,” Baily posted. wrote. “If true, these executive orders, pardons, and all other actions are unconstitutional and legally void.”

The problem is that they are presumed to be valid. Good luck getting the people who were actually running the show to admit to what really happened. Even so, the federal courts will likely declare that no one has standing to litigate the matter.

Not only are they presumed valid, but it would be a violation of the sanctity of the executive branch to investigate, because pardons are fully within the president’s official duties.

Simple. All pardons/EOs made after June 27, 2024 are invalid. That’s when America found out that Biden was senile.

The biden administration’s actions should be looked at with a microscope.

I do agree.

But it's kind of funny how this seems to work. Democrat president with dementia? Unelected staff doing whatever they want, with no legal authority? Well, we better presume it's all valid, because this is within the president's official duties.

Republican president, winning big in a national election? Fully in possession of his faculties? Ready to carry out the will of the people who just elected him? Well ... see ...the problem is that little nobody judges over in the judicial branch seem to have precedence here. The Chief Executive, you see, is not in charge of the Executive Branch. Nope. Some little judge in RI gets to call the shots and gets to decide what can and cannot be done within the Executive Branch. And it appears that a bunch of justices on the Supreme Court like it that way.

“I am demanding the DOJ [investigate] ...”

Someone needs to put the face of the AG on a milk carton.

A bigger issue is that it appears that all of FJB’s signatures were by robopen, not him.

The only thing he actually signed was his resignation letter.

Everything FJB did during his term is null and void.

"'Staffers and the Vice President cannot constitutionally evade accountability by laundering far-left orders through a man who does not know what he is signing,' Bailey wrote."

Sure seems like that should qualify for the "treason" label.

Anything and everything signed by the autopen is automatically suspect. Was Biden so out of it that he couldn't even sign his name?

This could get interesting.

Wouldn't that be perfect if Trump could wipe out Biden's entire presidency? That would be so sweet.

Ha.
Auto Pen saves a lot of writer’s cramp.

Bill Clinton tried to sign up as Otto Pilot to improve “relations” with the new interns in DC as well as staff women serving on Air Force One flights.

Trump can order the matter investigated, or Congress can investigate if Trump waives executive privilege. Otherwise, the courts will shut this down for a lack of standing.

Unfortunately, it would set a legal precedent, and they would use it against every Republican that ever were to be president. Even though it would be due to Biden’s cognition, they would somehow twist it around to be open season against Republican presidents.
