I thought snowflakes can identify as whatever they want. So, go ahead and identify as a government employee.
You won’t get paid, but since identity is what they care about, problem solved.

The chaos, confusion and emotional suffering in federal offices is already off the charts.
Normal people live in a world where you show up for work, do useful things, report on what useful things you did last week, and always face the risk that layoffs by your company might become necessary.
Federal employees don’t live in that world. Until now. And they find it unfair and frightening.
To: Oldeconomybuyer
So these federal workers think they should keep their jobs even if their jobs are considered to be unnecessary?
Welcome to the real world. Rarely is employment forever.

They might have chosen an unfortunate poster child. Better to have highlighted an essential worker in the Severe Storms area of the National Weather Service, which is a service everybody needs from time-to-time.
Trump and Musk will triumph because there are too many special interests getting public money with little accountability for most people to care..

Oh spare me.
Y’all thought you had a cushy job with gold plate benefits and a pension and now you’re suddenly a peon like the rest of us.

I feel for all the restaurant workers in California that were laid off after the State raised their minimum wage to $20 an hour.

That's it. No federal employee should ever lose their job. We only run a $2 trillion a year deficit. We can't have any president trying to tighten the belt or cut the fat. No. We have to keep spending our way into oblivion.

When Biden cancelled the Keystone pipeline, he threw thousands of people out of work. I don’t recall the mainstream media worrying about those folks.
Just sayin’.
