Lebanese government wouldn't let IRGC plane land at Beirut International, because it was carrying hardware to resume hostilitities with Israel. IRGC and Hezbollah attacked UNIFIL forces protecting the airport. Lebanese armed forces were caught flat-footed by the attack, which was ongoing as of yesterday. Mahyar has footage from phone cameras on scene.

Why would Iranian backed Hezbollah united forces attack the UN?
The UN are their buddies in much of the same way the Red Cross are HAMAS’ best friends.
Number 1: The UN has covered for first, the PLO (1976-1985) and then Hezbollah (1985-present) in Southern Lebanon.
Number 2: The Powerful Lebanese Army (that was a joke) also cooperates with the UN and the Hezbollah.
Number 3: It makes no sense unless the Iranians and Hezbollah have decided, enough is enough with outside “interference”.
The Hezbollah are regrouping and rearming everyday and perhaps the UN was about to do what it is supposed to do since 1978...DUH! ENFORCE resolutions.

Agree. Israel needs to add more to their bag of dirty tricks to instill fear in the terrorists. The cell phones were brilliant. Hacking Iranian centrifuges was also brilliant. What else can they do?

I remember after the civil war broke out, my Arabic teacher was incensed at the horrible chaos in what she personally recalled as a beautiful, peaceful country, where even so much as a purse snatching was major news, talked about by scandalized neighbors for years.
