Pam Bondi lays waste to the lawless Garland regime
Washington Examiner ^ | 14 Feb, 2025 | Washington Examiner

Attorney General Pam Bondi has barely been in office for a week but has already sent a clear and welcome message that the Justice Department is under new management.

On Wednesday, Bondi announced she had filed a lawsuit against the state of New York, Gov. Kathy Hochul (D-NY), and New York Attorney General Letitia James for what she said was prioritizing “illegal aliens over American citizens.”

The lawsuit targets a number of New York laws that have inhibited immigration enforcement. There’s the Green Light Law, which grants driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants and prohibits federal law enforcement, including immigration enforcement, from accessing the state’s driver’s license information. There’s also a law that requires state officials to inform illegal immigrants if federal officials inquire about them, among other things.

“This is a new DOJ,” Bondi said at a press conference announcing the lawsuit. “New York has chosen to prioritize illegal aliens over American citizens. It stops. It stops today.”

Bondi’s flashy press conference and headline-grabbing lawsuit show there’s a new sheriff in town. The Justice Department has a zero-tolerance policy for states that defy the rule of law and endanger the public by allowing criminal illegal immigrants to roam free.

After four years of the Merrick Garland DOJ’s aggressive targeting of law-abiding citizens, Bondi is a breath of fresh air. Rather than suing Texas for protecting its citizens from illegal immigrants, prosecuting peaceful protesters who prayed outside of abortion clinics, or sending the FBI to investigate parents who spoke out at school board meetings and Catholics who attend the Latin Mass, Bondi’s first major legal action as attorney general is an effort to force the state of New York to comply with existing federal immigration law.

The new attorney general, who personally removed the photographs of former President Joe Biden...

Is it possible to root out all of the corruption?

That press conference was very effective.

Yesterday Newscum capitulated and vetoed pro illegal alien legislation in CA.

Some governors will follow Newscum’s lead.

Some governors will go to prison.

These are amazing times.

It will need a few good patriots. There are such. They need to find them. They exist in every agency, the one’s cheering on Trump and DOGE because they cannot abide how quickly this was sliding into the abyss of hopelessness. Some are young and some are old, hidden to the bureaucracy in the interstices. Like Elon they will be the actual experts that are kept in the basement because you need them, but you don’t let the public see them because they make everyone else look really bad.

Only if there os patience involved and community pressure. Most will scramble to cover their asses and slowly leave. The indictments come later.

Instead of destroying the whole structure we use a fractional distillation social process. If it needs to be speeded up we simply charge Strzok with treason, sedition and espionage and put him in front of a firing squad. The scramble of deep state swamper exits would then be manic.

We also could impeach a few judges. They need to get the message.

Hoping DoJ has an active strategy for dealing with lower court activist judges.

As for judges the quickest action is to abolish their court.

The House and Senate can abolish any lower court or courts with a simple majority vote and a Presidential signature.

They have that option at any point—a sword hanging over the heads of all these judges—and don’t think they are not aware of it.

Congress can easily abolish a bunch of lower federal courts and then open up new ones at different locations—all new judges appointed by President Trump.

How is that for win win...

Someone please explain why the NY. Dems need to fear the lawsuits — other than it results in an easy change of the NY law.

Is it possible to root out all of the corruption?

Probably not.

Just like the Green Briar on my farm, you can cut down the above-ground growth, but to get rid of the rhizomes is a tall order.

Senate...... we do not control the Senate. We do not have the necessary 60 votes to pass ordinary legislation.

We do not even have the certainty of 50% given that there are marginal members that are unreliable.

Now that you mentioned Peter Strzk, the face of the FBI, I wonder what he is doing for income. Wikipedia says he is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University, and was producing a podcast. Oh, and he had a go fund me page. And he wrote a book which was the Times number one. He sure is one shined up turd.
