Considering the massive cartel operations already inside the United States of America, this is just common sense.

The best defense against the Cartels is a good offense.

War with Mexico?

A quagmire to rival even the worst of quagmires.

Shoot any armed persons crossing onto our side of the border. Cartel or Army or Cartel dressed as army.

All options could be on the table? Would that even include seizure of the banks that openly handle hundreds of millions and even billions of cartel cash?

If it’s just SF shooting up a cartel hacienda here and there, or a drone strike or snatch of a leader, it’s just show.
When every bank and business is utterly terrified to do business with cartels... including importing their cartel farmed avocados, I will know they are serious.

><

Right on both points. They are subhuman animals and should be eliminated.

Why the Military has not already been sent into the places INSIDE the US where we know they are operating out of in the desert and along the border is unfathomable to me.

Military action need not be a quagmire when the agenda is winning and not exploitation by the Military Industrial Complex.

A good test of whether a given military action will lead to a quagmire: Simply see who supports it. If the MIC war-mongers and NeoCons support the action - it will be a quagmire.

The MIC will not support military action against Mexican cartels, so no quagmire.

The only thing that will work is a conventional attack, with the Mexican government told to sit it out combined with a massive force of forensic accountants walking into countless banks and businesses. Spec ops cannot win this with a few raids and snatches of leaders.

By most estimates, cartels have 170-180k members. They are similar in size to the Viet Cong depending on the year. The cartels have large intelligence divisions that are young, techie, and sharp. They have a lot of very brutal, very disciplined fighters. Large numbers were trained by the US military then defected.

This is something to approach with gravity. And the harder we hurt them, the more we should expect some truly brutal responses like targeted bombings, random terror bombings, assassinations, kidnappings of US Judges, military dependents, etc.

We can do it, but time to stop fiddle farting around in Ukraine, Syria, Africa etc. And the US military needs to get HARD in a hurry. Shed the females, homos and trannies, stress cards in boot camp, etc.

People see this as a few commando raids. This has the makings of a brutal war.

And last, when we stop this and tear Mexico asunder, we have better close the border with a large serious force to stop a wave of those fleeing the fighting. Half of Mexico will try to run north.

1 Sicario

2 Sicario Day of the Soldado

3 Sicario Capos (script underway)

3 action movies with plots that involve US Gov taking out cartels.

Just what many of us have been saying about these savage Cartels for years.

Recruit the Tier 1 Special Ops guys and use clandestine procedures for those on our side of the border. What to do with the Cartel bosses on the Mexican side is problematic. Any ideas?
