Under the national labor law, board members can only be fired for neglect of duty or malfeasance. I don't see how that would stand up under constitutional scrutiny. The NLRB is not an independent "fourth branch" of the U.S. government.

The Executive Branch is 100% The Ecevutive’s to do with as he pleases.
Congress trying to tie down the Executive with rules cannot stand Constitutional scrutiny.

Under the national labor law, board members can only be fired for neglect of duty or malfeasance. Wilcox had served as acting board chair just for a few days at the end of the Biden administration — and it had been expected she would be replaced and resume her duties as board member.

Malfeasance should be hard to prove
You are in line with White House direction
You were “Acting” so your walking papers are in order, as you are not permanent...
Get a life, a new job and move on

Let her spend money on lawyers. All the leftist interest groups can help her. They are being attacked from all sides so the leftist interest groups are going to be spending a lot on defense. That’s what conservatives have been doing for decades.
