On the day Donald Trump is taking over officially as US President, Ukraine says it won’t waste any time and will start talking to the Trump administration soon about bringing peace to Ukraine. During a virtual interaction with reporters from New Delhi from Kyiv on Monday evening, Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is looking positively towards the US and the Trump administration to end the war, which is going to complete three years next month.

“We are looking very positively at the role of the United States and President Trump for ending this war. We are looking at starting consultations with the new US administration,” Yermak said in response to a question, adding that Ukraine is also looking at non-West countries like India and South Africa – with global influence — to play a role in that.

“Before I even arrive at the Oval Office, shortly after we win the presidency, I will have the horrible war between Russia and Ukraine settled,” Trump had vowed at a campaign rally in June last year. Russia’s foreign minister Sergey Lavrov recently said that he welcomed signals coming from the US President-elect over the Ukraine conflict.

Several weeks ago, Yermak visited the US and met Marco Rubio, Trump’s nominee for the Secretary of State. “We will not lose time and immediately start working towards it (after Trump’s inauguration),” he added.

On India’s possible role, Yermak said, “India is one of the biggest democracies in the world, and not just regional, but a world leader, and its position can play a big role. During the last two years, we have held a lot of meetings on the platform of the peace formula, which was mooted in Switzerland.”

“I am waiting to continue dialogue…

I really thought Trump would broker peace with Putie and the Z Man even before taking office.

But it is going to happen now. Something Biden wouldn’t do. As Biden escalated the war.

Zelinski was refused attendance today, three times, and now the little piker is saying he wasn’t invited. This liar has no honor.

Yes, of course Zelinski wants to talk to the United States but only before he speaks to Russia and Putin.

As a matter of fact, none of Biden’s EUropean henchmen as in the Macrom, Strarmer, Schultz or Zelinski were allowed to be present. Trump has nothing to speak with them about until after he has spoken to the leadership in not only Russia, but China as well.

Trump recognizes that Germany, Britain and France broke the Minsk Agreements and thus are not trusted by Russia, therefore they will not be party to negotiations.

Trump has learned the lessons well. They burnt him more than once.

We should leave Europe to itself. Between the UK, Germany and France Western Europe is done. They gave up their Christian heritage, embraced socialism which is really just hedonism and let the savages in.

Why should we feel any sympathy for Europe?

Two world wars to save them and they did this to themselves and they have the unmitigated gall, certainly the Brits do, to beg President Trump to come and save them.

No. No more European ‘’entanglements’’.

“No more European ‘’entanglements”

Agree. We can’t be friends with countries committing suicide. They’re too crazy to trust, especially with our money. Most we should do is advise them to stop what they’re doing, deport the invaders and bail themselves out.
