If you listen closely you can hear democrat donor’s wallets snapping shut.
Root cause of fires in areas that are geographically not connected?
Over night, the Palisades Fire GREW by around 1,500 acres.
It was 15,832 acres last night. It is now 17,234. 0% contained.
The Eaton Fire - 10,600 acres - also remains at 0% contained.
R-son......................
Embers can travel 1 to 2 miles but see my post earlier today showing ARSONISTS setting a new fire. Hope they were arrested.
I’d wager the clothes on my back that there are arsonists involved.
The winds are a disaster, but I firmly believe terrorist arsonists are taking advantage of the situation.
The LA Times took down their paywall (at least did on my phone). Story there said 40-60 mph winds again today. So not sure if the helicopters will be able to attack the fire today.
They were busy all night with the Hollywood Hills fire.
But, hey, at least the firefighters are diverse now...
LA is a desert.
The root cause is that the desert is brown and brown means combustible and combustible burns unabated when driven by high winds.
LA’s problem is the climate did not change. Climate change would have been from ultra dry normality to wetter and less combustible semi green.
It’s not just terrorists..................
When the wind is blowing 60 mph those embers can fly a long way.
Maybe.
For Mayor Bass and the ‘Nine Angry Lesbians’, but the Governor, and Congresscritters will feel no pain.............
Why?
Burning LA is good for America
LA is a centroid of progressive cancer destroying the nation. An act of God is at work.
A meth lab would have the same effect.
I think seeing their house burn down as hydrants run dry in favor of some fish, well I think the stench of that will reach even the governor.
High wind is the connection. Conditions are ripe to start fires. Hydrants have no water. All rain water was allowed to drain into ocean. Fish is more important than humans. Newscum removed 4 dams which retain rain water.
A little arson to go along with the natural disaster. Burn the pedophile playground to the ground.
Yup—if you are going to have large cities in the desert then usable water must be priority #1.
If the cities are on the coast desalination plants are the no brainer answer.
Thanks. Embers and arson make sense.
