You’re probably right, although the lack of agency coordination and even contradicting each other leads me to believe that the US gov was simply parceled out to different Dem interest groups and some agencies were left to run themselves. Look at how DOD and State a have followed opposite policies on Israel: State wags it’s finger and was even trying to move the embassy from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv while Austin arrives a week later and says “We got your back.” Or the fact that Mayorkas’ evil and illegal open borders policy may have cost the Dems the election: he was completely out of control from day 1.

The Middle East radical Muslims have been butchers for more than a century.
After WWI the Ottoman Empire was defeated except what is now Turkey. The Kemalists were allowed to continue, the Kemalists were secular in government. Most historians say Kemal was an atheist.
The Islamists were held in check by Kemal and his followers, until Erdowan took power. He is Muslim Brotherhood and he has protected the remnants of ISIS.
Caroline Glick is an incredibly well informed Israeli, she is battle hardened and knows the reality of the Middle East.
