Tragic Ashli Babbitt and the buried Jan. 6 truth (why the DC National Guard was not allowed into the mess)
NY POST ^ | Published Nov. 24, 2024 | By Miranda Devine

The J6 riot was not an insurrection but a protest that escalated into an out-of-control riot because then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was denied intelligence about potential threats that day and denied National Guard backup that he was begging for.

In the cold light of hindsight, a new Trump administration will ensure that the narrative of J6 is rewritten to reflect the truth of that tragic day instead of the lies spun by Democrat Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi’s J6 committee.

Sund is a crucial witness to history. Pelosi made him her scapegoat, firing him immediately, but she knew that he had begged for the National Guard to assist his vastly outnumbered troops.

He needed the permission of the Capitol Police Board, and Pelosi and then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell controlled the two sergeants at arms who had to give him the OK. McConnell’s guy deferred to Pelosi, and Pelosi’s guy kept saying he had to “run it up the chain to get Pelosi’s approval,” says Sund.

But the National Guard didn’t arrive for hours, delayed not just by Pelosi but by officials at the Pentagon who had become so Trump-deranged that they believed Trump would repurpose the troops to declare martial law and try to hang on to power.

This was a delusion that gripped Mark Milley worst, then-chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the most powerful military figure in Washington.

Milley was constantly talking to people about the threat of a “coup” by Trump after the 2020 election, Washington Post reporters Carol Leonnig and Philip Rucker wrote in their book “I Alone Can Fix It,” which paints Milley as a defender of democracy rather than an emotional weakling defying his commander in chief.

In the days leading up to the riot, Milley told his staff that Trump’s suggestions that the National Guard be deployed on Jan. 6 was just an “excuse to invoke the Insurrection Act” and call out the military.

The book paints a picture of an increasingly paranoid Milley fielding calls from unnamed “friends” egging him on in his delusion.

Milley came to see Trump as Hitler. “This is a Reichstag moment,” he told aides. “The gospel of the Führer.”

During those violent riots, officers at the capital’s Metropolitan Police Department were “ordered not to assist at the White House,” says Sund, undoubtedly by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser, a rancid Trump hater.

Sund says the DC cops “were so furious having to watch bloodied Secret Service agents being taken out by ambulance” while they could do nothing. Afterward, he phoned then-DC Police Chief Pete Newsham and asked for an assurance that if he had problems at the Capitol the DC police would come and help.

Although Newsham retired five days before the Jan. 6 riot, the DC police “could not have helped me more,” says Sund, and sent him 1,000 officers.

But when it came to the National Guard, Sund hit roadblock after roadblock.

First it was Pelosi, and then the Pentagon.

I am thinking Ashli Babbit knew something and they eliminated her right then and there.

Arkancide in front of your eyes and no one says anything

Would love to see Gaetz appointed as a special prosecutor for the new DOJ and expose the truth about J6, a murder investigation of Byrd who killed Babbitt in cold blood, and right after that (or concurrently) especially Cheney and Kinzinger who pressed Trump’s involvement as true when it was also a fabrication in the cover-up of fed employees in that rat committee ordered by Nanzi.

And also the big cover-up on Inauguration Day of the fake bomb fiasco, what did Khumulah know and when did she know it. Many FBI prison sentences waiting here for prosecution.

The only reason is quiet about the TARGETED attack and hit on Babbit imo is that both Rinos and Democrats are in on it... Just as John Wilkes Booth was too, by the way.

As for Miley and other high level civil servants, all these same congress members pull strings to make the promotions of these people in places like West Point or what not.

The uniparty already has at the officer level a Hitlerian praetorian guard and private non profit militia of their own, often well staffed by craven Marxists playing professors in unicersity and dreaming of a spot at corporate boards to push their dumb theories.

I believe Milley, Pelosi and McConnell planned J6 out to destroy Trump, past, present and future. And they looked on any civilian deaths during the day as a bonus! That cop who killed Ashli Babbit was their stooge. They put a loaded gun in his hands and gave him a green light to murder. All to destroy Trump and protect their empires.

Will justice ever be served?

Where were all these bloodied secret service agents and who did what to them.
The truth now.

"This was a delusion that gripped Mark Milley worst,..."

Yes, one of MANY delusions. Milley is a certifiable mental case., that's apparent to anyone.

If you want to know why Ashli was killed, then you need to figure out why Byrd (who was Special Security for Nancy Pelosi) would be running straight into a crowd of hostile citizens instead of going through the underground corridors with Pelosi and crew.

Byrd was carrying a small ‘package’. After he got out of the building he was picked up in a government vehicle and taken directly to a special hotel on a restricted military base.

There, he went to a reserved room and stayed (I think it was about a week) there with orders to stay until Nancy Pelosi personally came and picked up the package.

His orders were to see no one, talk to no one, and never open the package.

What was in the package?

Nope. Byrd was just clearing a path. Making a hole as they say in the Navy.

Ask yourself this... why was Byrd running straight into the path of incoming and presumably hostile citizens ? Wouldn't he follow everyone else through the underground escape corridors or have just stayed in Pelosi' office guarding it ?

Byrd needs to be brought up on murder charges, and he needs to answer a LOT of questions. I’m thinking he might just suffer a mysterious death….

I can’t reveal the source so, for the time being, skip the package. It is the key but publicly it doesn’t even exist.

What was Byrd doing heading straight into the oncoming protestors ? Why did he go to the Naval Base and stay locked in his room in a secure hotel on the base ?

“escalated into an out-of-control riot because then-Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund was denied intelligence”

Yeah, maybe a tiny bit of that.... with large helping of shooting the crowd with gas canisters and flashbangs.

Yes, but there is a license to murder. It's not called murder though. It just allows one to legally kill.

“So now we know that the cop who fatally shot unarmed Donald Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt, 36, during the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot was rewarded with a promotion and a $36,000 bonus.”

Michael Byrd should be prosecuted and jailed for life for the cold blooded murder of Ashli Babbitt.

Obviously we need a new Jan 6 commission. Do not put one single Democrat or RINO on it.
