Gov. Newsom announces plan to boost economy, create jobs across state

Governor Gavin Newsom visited the Central Valley on Thursday to roll out a billion-dollar plan aimed at bringing an economic boost to the state.

It's the California Jobs First Economic Blueprint with a new Regional Investment Initiative.

"This is our 20-year $58 billion investment plan for the central San Joaquin region," said Ashley Swearengin, the president and CEO of the Central Valley Community Foundation.

Swearengin says the goal is to continue developing the workforce and strengthening the agriculture industry.

"We can expect to see almost $100 billion of economic impact, 138,000 new jobs, and we're talking about electricians and carpenters and ironworkers engineers, community health workers," said Swearengin.

Governor Newsom acknowledged families across the state are being impacted by inflation and other economic challenges.

"The lived reality of people feeling on edge, un-moored, uneasy, and I think it's so many ways to work that you've done putting us putting the work that's been done. This reason is the antidote to that," said Newsom.

The governor says they started with $5 million for each region.

The Valley has already received $14 million, allowing seven projects to get kicked off locally.

Thursday's announcement comes just two weeks after the election and Newsom is calling a special session to safeguard California from Trump.

Throw taxpayer dollars at the Bureaucrats, a sure way to make those paper pushing slugs very rich whilst ensuring huge kickbacks to the Dippity Doman’s campaign “fund.”

Oracle moved out, Tesla moved headquarters to Texas, same with SpaceX and hundreds of top companies.
California is finished as far as growing their economy fast is concerned, so long as they keep voting for Democrats.

Plan is always “spend more of other people’s money” - never “get government out of the public’s way.”

Meanwhile, as the tent dwelling population grows and storefronts hide empty stores, business and industry is fleeing the state for a chance at survival in America.

Where’s Zorro when he is sorely needed?

“Newsom following the China method.”
.
.
Newsom’s “Great Leap Forward”. 🤢

(Except it takes 20 years—instead of 5—to see results).

I remember a high speed train that made Pelosi rich and never carried a single passenger. It proved a great money maker for land speculators and was never finished. Why a train from LA to Frisco? Who would ride it? The Homeless?
Why not a highspeed train to Las Vegas from LA? That might make money!

Newsom idolizes Chinas government. So translated this means:

“California GOVERNMENT Jobs First Economic Blueprint”

A government overseer on every job site.

California is not going to be happy until 50% of the state works directly for the government, and the other 50% is enslaved by the government to pay for government.

$58 billion? My bet is that it creates a couple hundred jobs.

A 20 year plan? Reminds me of the Soviet 5 year plans.

So instead of waiting five years to come up with a new failure, these jerks will be waiting 20 years. This probably gives more time for the government grafters to line their pockets.

After all, the 20 year Afghan war was a complete success, so maybe 20 years is the right time frame to launder money. Then move on to another scheme like the MIC did with Ukraine.

Let’s see, spend more money to create jobs, and of course raise taxes to pay for more jobs. Yea, that makes sense.
