Based on exit polls, Generation X was the most-pro Trump generation. I am an Xer and this might be our finest hours. We grew up with Alex P Keaton as a cultural hero not some freak LGBTQI.... or Boomers thinking it is always 1968. Also, we saw first hand what a bunch hypocrites Boomer Leftist were going from "Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll" to "Just Say No". We learned how manipulative mass media marketing can be. Us Xers, instantly knew what a phony Kamala was.

Maybe that is why Elon Musk changed the name of Twitter to X.

Anyone who grew up in the ‘80s remembers how good things were.
Now you don’t just go hang out at the mall, it’s too dangerous.
That is if the mall is even open anymore.

And we know what a bunch of horseshit it is when the left calls us Nazis. Our grandfathers and great uncles went to Europe and SHOT AT Nazis. Or our grandparents saw Nazis invade their countries and commit all of the atrocities that history records. To us “Nazi” means something very specific — someone from the Third Reich who speaks German and murders innocents. Not someone that a 22-year-old college brat is mad at because someone told them “no”.

Most of us have kids.
Half grown kids or even grown kids but kids. And we want them to be able to move out.
We have parents that are now elderly to care for. And we have to help them out with the bills because despite the fact that the value of their paid for home has gone up the amount in their bank account did not. But their property taxes did. As did their energy bills and food bills. They can't "downsize" because there is no place to move them to.
We are sandwiched between two groups that have claim on us and we are trying to do everything we can to help but everything is going up for us too. We are having to dip into savings and our retirement or at the least not add to them.
And at the same time we are being told we are selfish and need to give more to people who are flooding into our country, driving up the cost of housing and driving down wages.
We looked up and said, "no."

As a Gen Xer who grew up in the NYC metro area, we also never felt threatened by Donald Trump because we remember him as a colorful real estate tycoon, a casino mogul, and the owner of the USFL’s New Jersey Generals.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I remember Trump renovating Wollman rink in Central Park after the government did not get the job done.

It’s because we were adults or close in the 90s and remember how sane that era was even for it’s faults. Now we have men in dresses running major bureaucratic cabinets.

I'm a 13th Generation American. A 13er.
People born between 1961 and 1981 are America's 13th generation. Born too late to be a true Boomer and only 3 years old when Gen X came about.
Baby Boomer Generation – born 1946-1964. Generation X – born 1965-1979. Having established that...
Based on exit polls, Generation X was the most-pro Trump generation. Generation X can be pro Trump. 13ers are pro America. There IS a difference.
JMO, YMMV

Yes also the Left threw all the same insults at Reagan as Trump. We knew what the Left were doing against Trump and could instantly see the BS. What is hilarious they recycled the Hamdmaids Tale propaganda used against Reagan.
