Terry Bradshaw's Family Lets NFL Fans Know Where It Stands Politically

Terry Bradshaw's family hasn't been shy about where it stands politically.

The legendary NFL quarterback has made it clear where he stands politically over the years. Bradshaw, 76, grew up in Louisiana and starred in the NFL for the Pittsburgh Steelers, winning four Super Bowls. The Hall of Fame quarterback now works for FOX as an NFL analyst on the pregame and postgame shows. Bradshaw, who has been taking heat for his performances this season, doesn't seem to have any plans on retiring.

Bradshaw, meanwhile, has made it clear that he considers himself to be an independent voter. However, his family seems to have a clear preference.

While Bradshaw himself is an independent voter, his family is currently celebrating Donald Trump's victory on social media.

"Trump's president," his daughter, Erin, wrote on her Instagram Story. "What an amazing day!"

"And there you have it!!!!" his daughter, Rachel, wrote on her Instagram Story in reaction to Trump's win.

But the legendary NFL quarterback seems to be different. He's made it clear that he switched his political preferences.

"I've been a Republican, but now I'm a registered independent. I don't want to alienate anyone, and the minute you say, “I'm a Democrat” or “I'm Republican,” you're kicking off the other side. I want the best person [in the White House], and I'll pick the one who's most like the way I feel," he told bjtonline in 2020.

Bradshaw had not been shy to criticize Donald Trump for his comments on the NFL.

"This is America. If our country stands for anything, folks, it's freedom. People died for that freedom. I'm not sure if our President understands those rights. That every American has the right to speak out also to protest. Believe me, these athletes do love our this great country of ours.

Personally, I think our President should concentrate on North Korea and healthcare rather than ripping into athletes and the NFL," he said.

Terry Bradshaw has yet to comment on the election, but perhaps he'll speak out on Sunday.

Week 10 of the 2024 NFL regular season is set to return on action on Thursday.

What does a former football player have to recommend himself as a political commentator?

I think the article indicates that he hasn’t spoken about the election...

Terry, you ass, the left has been punishing anyone in the middle or on the right for speaking their minds. Where the heck have you been?!

So Terry- have you spoken out on behalf of Nick Bosa who may get fined simply for wearing a MAGA hat?

He said he moved from being Republican to being Independent.

He's speaking about the election loud and clear, but he's just too gutless to admit it.

So, Bradshaw is kind of like France in WWII, right?

If it were not for Lynn Swann, John Stallworth, Franco Harris and Rocky Blier, nobody would know (or care) who Terry Bradshaw is.

The four named above had magnificent NFL careers, but one can only imagine what their performance would have been like had they played with a QB that played at their level.

Heck, I’m an ‘Independent’ and have always been one; and there are lots of us here.

When the NFL encouraged players to take a knee before the American flag, it all changed for me.

A local BBQ place had some political signs on its property for Democrat candidates (local or state offices). Already not going there often because they are overpriced but less likely to patronize them now. Maybe they should not antagonize 50% of their potential customers.

When it came to Terry Bradshaw seeing his aging naked ass unwanted in the movie Failure to Launch changed it all for me. If you haven’t seen the movie you have been warned.

Hollywood Henderson commented on Bradshaw’s intelligence back in the 70s.

Bradshaw called his own plays. Who else do you know of who did that?
