Vice President Kamala Harris did not speak as election night turned into Wednesday morning as supporters gathered for what was supposed to be a celebration at her alma mater, Howard University.
Harris will address the nation later Wednesday, her campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond votes told a thinning crowd gathered at her watch party at Howard University after midnight.
Photos show partygoers leaving and Harris supporters crying as results continued to come in that showed her falling behind in key states.

Her speechwriters have to have time to write a speech for her that is teleprompter-proof.
So, she lied last night when she said we would hear from her in the morning. Typical.

Probably a good move on her part. A sober Kamala makes no sense. A weeping, drunk Kamala would be even worse.
Perhaps Kamala could get Joe Biden to make the concession speech for her. Yeah, that would be a hoot, one for the ages.

It’s not enough to be “black” and female to deserve the presidency. You have to have a minimum of intelligence and competence.
If the left were sincere about wanting a black female president, they would have rallied behind Condoleezza Rice, and not trashed her like they did.
To avoid disappointment, nominate someone who is competent and intelligent, not someone who serviced a male politician to get a “head” start in politics.
