Vice President Kamala Harris edged out former President Donald Trump in the US territory of Guam's quadrennial straw poll.

With all precincts reporting, Harris defeated Trump 49.46% to 46.22%. Four years ago, Joe Biden defeated Trump by 14 percentage points.

Guam is a US territory and its straw poll results, which have been held every four years since 1980, are non-binding and don't count toward the Electoral College.

The island's straw poll result has corresponded to the popular vote winner in every election since 2004.

“They better think about China and less about abortion”

Apparently, to many women, abortion is more important than anything.

The 19th was a bad idea.

Guam flipped red for the legislature, this straw poll is gamed because people are protecting themselves from violent liberals. Guam dos not go red for the first time in 16 years and somehow overall supports Harris.

Four years ago, Joe Biden defeated Trump by 14 percentage points...

Less Democrat votes this time around... That’s a good sign.

Agreed. Both the 17th and 19th amendments need to be revoked. The republic would operate much more efficiently.

Think? I’d venture to guess that feelings are what motivates their actions.

Feelings > Facts

I’d have no problem with her being President of Guam. Keep it from tipping over.

Well likely Guam and Dixville Notch in New Hampshire don’t make a trend but it’s interest in each that Trump did far better than both than he did in 2020 (14 points to 3 points in Guam, and ALL votes for Biden to a 3/3 tie in Dixville Notch).

weird...kamala wins straw poll but exit poll from Guam's 2024 general election indicates that Republicans are poised to gain control of the territory’s legislature, potentially ending 16 years of Democratic leadership ?

With that mentality, it should have already tipped over when the guy with more than one brain cell walked to the other side.
