Ditto. When the skeletonized Pompeo walked to the podium, I’m thinking, “WTF?” In his book he clearly said that he and Gina Haspel purposely lied to, and withheld information from, Trump.

Megyn Kelly show today: She announced on her show today that she was invited to Pittsburgh rally tonight. Rare, but she accepted.
She is very well prepared to stump for Trump. She has been advocating Trump for Pres for weeks and weeks. 100% all in...like a court-room final summation!

What did they lie/withhold info about? I can’t remember, but, I do know I don’t trust Pompeo.
Compression gives the illusion of loudness, by compressing the frequencies into a narrower band. I prefer rough mixes, with little compression, giving the full frequecy. I don’t mind a little EQ, but I find too much compression to be annoying. Unfortunately, this always sounds better in the headphones than it does on the car stereo.
It’s too bad when you find a Voice that has beautiful color across the spectrum, and it gets compressed all to hell. My recording software had all kinds of effects, especially compression, but I didn’t like the sound. (I used Cubase and Pro-Tools back in the day)
Just my opinion...have been recording vocalists for a long time, now retired.
I still do sound for my sister, in small venues, and have never had any complaints.
