Despite recent polls giving former President Donald Trump an edge in the 2024 presidential election, American University professor Dr. Allan Lichtman is standing by his prediction that Vice President Kamala Harris will come out on top. Lichtman, 77, has been dubbed by some the election “Nostradamus” due to his track record of predicting nine of the past 10 presidential contests. In September, he went all-in on a Democratic win. “Nothing has changed to change my prediction that I made on September 5, deliberately before the supposed ‘pivotal’ Trump-Harris debate — according to the pundits — which proved to be pivotal not one bit if you believe the polls,” Lichtman explained during a live stream Tuesday. The prof revealed that he’s since been peppered with questions about whether he intends to switch his prediction in light of polls showing Trump edging in front of Harris in swing states. The RealClearPolitics average of polls showed Trump, 78, leading Harris, 60, by 0.4% nationwide as of noon Wednesday, all but ensuring a Republican Electoral College victory if it came to pass.

Predicting elections isn’t that difficult seeing as its 50/50 each time and most of the time it’s pretty obvious who is going to win.

Quinnipiac has their final vote tally out for PA, its Trump plus 2..last poll had Harris plus 3..so here is my question, if that is true and I cant stand Quinnipac, they are left leaning buffoons, if Trump is going to win PA there is NO WAY that Trump loses Michigan and WI, NO WAY its IMPOSSIBLE..but lets say he does, he wins PA, Georgia, Arizona and Nevada, can he win the election?

The big problem with Lichtman is that he didn’t answer his own “keys” correctly. He thinks Biden had no foreign affairs crises (like Afghanistan) and no scandals (!), that Trump has no charisma, that Harris gets a boost from being the “incumbent,” etc., etc. He gives nonsense answers to his own questions and comes out with the answer that he wants.

This is a psyops. Lichtman’s 13 measurements are silly. He said Trump would win in 2016 and in 2020. In 2020 he was taken to the wood shed and when he came out he said he had “reevaluated” his position or some such other BS so changed to Joey.
A couple of his measurements are no war - no scandal - good economy - I forget the rest but he gave those check marks to Comrade Harris. As far as he “predicting” the last ten elections this is pure BS. He just manipulated his positions to fit conditions at the time and Shazam! WE HAVE AN EXPERT.
I predict Reagan will win in 1980 and 1984 - Bush will win in 1988 Clinton in 1992 and 1996 with Bush jr winning in 2000 and 2004 - Obama winning in 2008 and 2012 But Trump winning in 2016 and 2000 ( Joey and the rodents cheated so my system had a glitch)
You see what I mean. This guy makes no allowances for changing demographics which rule elections.
To him unions back Harris Blacks are solid for Harris and he hasn’t even seen the USA Today poll of Hispanics showing Trump up 49/38 (look it up) and he still think EVERY Jew will vote Democrat.

Lichtman, a registered Democrat, has been fiercely critical of Trump. Recently, he announced he was canceling his Washington Post subscription over the paper’s decision not to endorse a candidate this cycle or in future cycles.
