On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “The Source,” Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro (D) reacted to President Joe Biden’s comments about supporters of 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump by saying that Biden’s words are “certainly not words that I would choose, and I think it’s important that we remain focused on the contrast between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump and not attacking supporters of either candidate.”
Shapiro said that he had not heard the comments until that very moment, “So, I’m kind of giving you my fresh reaction to it. I would never insult the good people of Pennsylvania or any Americans, even if they chose to support a candidate that I didn’t support. I think the real issue here is Donald Trump and his inability to simply say comments like that are wrong, to simply stand up for his fellow Americans. He is incapable of doing that.”

I also asked the WH how they knew Biden only meant “supporter’s” as they have it in this transcript.
Did they talk to Biden to ask him what he meant? The spokesperson asked to go off the record. We declined. They didn’t comment further.
Biden’s comments are the latest example of why Kamala Harris’ team has been avoiding campaigning with him.

btw, what biden actually said was (in reference to the comedian’s joke): “the only garbage I see out there is his [trump’s] supporters.”

And...POOF! Just like that - Biden flips the narrative and puts Team Ho/Pedo on the defense. Instead of some dumb comedian making an insulting comment, it’s the “President” sabotaging his replacement.
It’s almost like Team Trump played 4-D chess with Biden by putting Hinchcliff on stage.

it seems somewhat ironic that harris campaign staffers snub biden as being undisciplined... when biden also is perhaps even “chaotic”?
I knew someone would rationalize Brandon’s asinine comment. John Stewart,who hates Trump said the joke was FUNNY! What Brandon did was inexplicable and inexcusable no matter how far into dementia he is. Clinton did this crap.

Thanks for posting this. My first reaction was “Thanks Thanks Biden. You just removed the pressure on the Trump campaign re: the stupid comment made by the idiot comedian that Trump doesn’t even know. OTOH you’re the POTUS and you insulted half of America. What you did is far worse.”
I wonder what Morning Shmo’s wife will say about this. She made a big deal re: the comedians comment earlier today.
Shapiro doesn’t have time to say that, because he is too busy helping Democrats steal the election in PA.
