NBC national political correspondent Steve Kornacki said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that a series of new polls showed former President Donald Trump ahead of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Kornacki said, “One thing we have noticed in the last couple of days, this is not all of the polls that are out there now, but we have seen a number – four in the last four days – that have shown very small, but in the context of this close race, potentially meaningful movement in Trump’s direction. I don’t want to overstate it, but at the same time, it’s hard to ignore these four. The CNBC poll came out the other day – has Trump ahead by two. The Wall Street Journal poll – Trump ahead by three. These are national numbers. CNN, The New York Times, A tied race, CNN, a tied race. The significance here is broader movement. Again, we’re seeing in Trump’s direction.”

She has a 100% lock on the “deranged, demented, dysfunctional” demographic.
This sounds like they’re trying to not look like complete frauds when Trump wins.

I just hope that after this early voting surge for Trump there are still enough people left for a big Trump turnout on Election Day.
My wife and I live in a small PA town where we are not at all worried about polling place shenanigans, so we are saving our guns for Election Day.
LOL!
Meaningful movement!
They really mean Trump is going to KO these rotten American hating Communist deviates!
Trump will beat these freedom hating screw worms like a drum.
Thanks
This is great news, but we can’t get overconfident. We need everyone to do his or her part. Find a way to volunteer now to save the country:
https://trumpforce47.com/ (Official Trump campaign; in swing states door knock, deliver signs, throw neighborhood parties, poll watch; outside of swing states make phone calls; planning on surging volunteers into the swing states right before election day)
https://earlyvoteaction.com/ (Scott Presler’s group; call, send texts, write and mail postcards to get out the vote from anywhere or work the ground game in person in PA)
https://www.tpaction.com/ (Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action; door knock, register voters, get voters to the polls, focusing currently on WI and AZ; will pay for hotel rooms for out-of-state volunteers working in WI and AZ; full-time jobs available in AZ, WI, and MI)

I hope this election is too big to rig.
Lord wiling, the race won’t even be close!
Trump, Vance, and down-ballot Republicans all the way!
The polls in 1980 one week before the election had Reagan and Carter tied.
Kornacki is insightful, but I wish he just wrote his points down. Dancing around doesn’t add much to a list of well-chosen stats.
Wasn’t 1984 also?
We're moving in the right direction...
A lot of people I know are moving to PA. I’ve never considered it before now, but I wonder if I’ve been looking in the wrong direction to find a decent retirement location.
I love Pennsylvania.. you just need to stay away from the big urban centers.
Interesting. Guess I need to figure out where old folks like me go to spend their remaining years in PA.
These are the "vibes voters" swinging to Trump. Trump seems to have the vibes right now. He's acting like a winner. Four years ago, he was angry and defiant. Today, he's all smiles, jokes, and full of confidence. It's Kamala and her supporters who are angry and defiant.
Why do the vibes matter? Because there's a not insignificant number of voters out there who aren't really interested in politics and only vote because they believe they have a civic duty to do so. In the end, they're going to come out for the candidate who they perceive is winning as to not vote for a loser.
Anyhow, we're going to know early on how the race is going to turn out when these small districts on the Eastern Time Zone come through with their numbers and bounce these numbers against 2020 and 2016. If Trump is crushing it in these small districts, besting his previous elections, it's going to be a very good night. And at this point, I'm going to switch over to MSNBC for their Election Night coverage to bathe myself joyfully in their despair.
Great post
