Even though the presidential race between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris remains neck and neck, The Washington Post editorial page has decided not to make a presidential endorsement for the first time in 36 years, the editorial page editor told colleagues at a tense meeting Friday morning.
The meeting was characterized by someone with direct knowledge of discussions on condition of anonymity to speak about internal matters.
First the LA times now this
However...we know who the vast majority of their readers will vote for!
If there was a third option where they could still hate Trump without necessarily supporting Kamala Harris, they would have chosen that route
Maybe the Publisher/owner grew a pair...
President Donald J. Trump...again.
a vote of no confidence
These are very interesting times we are loving in.
Dominoes are falling.
Let’s think. Who was running against the 80s Republican presidents. Carter, Mondale, and Dukakis. All of them lost in landslides.
Bezos knows Trump’s going to win.
Translation: “If we don’t regain any credibility we might have had, we’ll be out of business before 2025 anyway.”
Kamala supporters are sounding defeated and desperate. A lib friend on Facebook posted this: “If people ask ‘Are you better off than four years ago,’ remind them that four years ago stores ran out of toilet paper.” Really? That’s the best ya got?
What they have to wake up to is that it’s not just about Kamala, it’s about the Democratic Party as a whole.
Too bad, kamala!
You lose!!
The 1988 election was the last one where we knew ahead of time that the demonrat was doomed to lose.
The Washington Compost doing this is the same as asking someone “Who are you voting for?” and the person says “None of your business” they are voting for Trump but don’t want the backlash of saying so
“ Maybe the Publisher/owner grew a pair..”
Implausible.
More probable the reality of Kamala is a lot worse than we even know, and WaPo has inside information about it.
Better to be safe than sorry.
Bezos doesn’t want Trump to break up Amazon.
They mean wont endorse the D candidate.
