A new survey shows that more than a quarter of Black men plan to vote for former President Trump in November’s presidential election.
The University of Chicago’s latest GenForward poll released Wednesday found that if the election were held today, 26 percent of Black men between the ages of 18 and 40 said they would vote for Trump, compared to only 12 percent of Black women who said the same.
Vice President Harris has been struggling with young Black male voters since her campaign launch.
Still, GenForward’s poll showed some contradiction among the demographic.
Despite one-fourth of young Black men saying they would cast their ballot for Trump, they repeatedly identified Harris as the strongest candidate on the issues.
Nearly half of young Black men said Harris is the candidate most capable of being a strong leader, compared to 25 percent who said the same of Trump, while 52 percent said Harris is the candidate who would do the most to improve their lives and their families’ lives.
In fact, on every topic — ranging from the most trustworthy candidate to the one who will bring down inflation to protecting democracy — Black men said Harris was the best choice.

I think Trump got critical mass of black males, so now they can be open about it, and it will have a snowball effect. That shooting might have been the best thing for his campaign.

Some black dude on Twitter said something like “Trump got three baby mommas, 43 felony counts, and been shot, he blacker than Kamala.”
Which is pretty darn funny!
Hopefully a double edged sword - greater support percentage-wise for the GOP, and a lower turnout overall for the group to reduce support for Harris in two ways among a key voting group for Democrats.
There is the issue about feeling like you are literally “all alone” and isolated - it is a terrible feeling. With more of them being vocal and visible, the dam may be breaking on this.

If the survey is right, it means only 87.5% blacks voting fir Kemala. But that’s only from blackmen. If only 10% of black women voting for Trump, It means only 82.5% blacks voting for her. Far below the usual number for the Dhims.
Oh, but this is only for blacks age 18-40 yo. The older ones, unfortunately, vote Dhim with higher rates.
Obama got 95%. I expect Trump to get 15%. So he’s doing 3x better.
All these decades of 92%, 94% and so on for the Dems.
Now their sinful acts of the past are beginning to be atoned for, to a slight extent, with 25%. 75% are still lowlife Democrats.
But for years the “experts” said if anyone could cut into the Dem bloc by a little then the Dems would lose elections.
Shouldn’t that 25% mean the polls should show big margins for Trump, no “dead heat” “with the margin of error” and “1%”?
Like Hillary would say, why isn’t our side winning by a lot more?
