Vice President Harris is holding a press conference Wednesday morning to react to reporting that former President Trump once praised Nazi leader Adolf Hitler.
The comments, reported by The Atlantic, came from a recent interview with retired Gen. John Kelly, who served as White House chief of staff under the Trump administration. Kelly alleged that Trump lauded Hitler’s generals for their loyalty.
His comments confirmed reporting from a book that quoted the former president asking Kelly: “Why can’t you be like the German generals?” The Trump campaign has denied the claims.
Her remarks are expected to begin at 11:30 a.m. EDT. Watch the live video above.

I’ve heard Kelly repeat this BS before it’s nothing new and it’s complete horse crap they have nothing else to run with
I miss the days when retired US generals were apolitical. They might service in other capacities after retirement, but they rarely became partisan.
And anyway, the German generals were not all that loyal to Hitler. Operation Valkyrie offers evidence of that.

In fact, a lot of Nazism was about funneling money (stolen from Jews and the state itself) to the ‘right’ people.
Who cares if it is? It’s an observation which could be applied to many in history. Praising loyalty isn’t so bad, even if it’s the wrong kind of guy.
