Disgraced former Rep. Adam Kinzinger’s (R) Tuesday gun range photo op is being mocked online after a reporter was hit while Democrat candidate Lucas Kunce shot at targets that were apparently too close.
Davis also noted, “Kinzinger holds his rifle like a complete ninny, and that will never not be funny to me. And pro-tip for Kinzinger: the eye protection works better when it’s on your eyes, not your head. You stupid idiot. Try using your brain for once. You’re lucky you still have one after today.”

I’d say all those steroids have rotted Adam’s brains, not that he ever had any to begin with.
The picture of Adam shooting is like a “never do this” poster for a gun safety class. The dude has never shot a rifle in his life.

🤔
I’m confused. I thought Kunce was doing the shooting. And he is supposedly a Marine? SMH. God help this country.
Used to have two gay neighbors who were that buff. They spent all their spare time at the gym.
The best is the Babylon Bee’s response:
To me, it still looks like “reckless endangterment with a firearm” causing injury or death and it used to be a FELONY.
If we could get him, Tim Walz, and Dick Cheney to go hunting together it might solve several problems.

Since you're the multiple post guardian, you might modify
the fr search engine to be more article over title specific.
I did the most specific fr search before posting.
He was an Air Force tanker pilot, so I assume he had to qualify on an M-16.
I think "qualify" and "proficient" may mean different things in the Air Force....
LOL! As the mods remind us, search works. Except when it doesn’t. 😊👍
Why would you assume that?
I may very well get flamed by a lot of AF guys, but I've probably never shot with them.
“Didn’t say “assume”, I said “think”, because it’s anecdotal -
I’ve shot with lots of guys from different branches, and the AF guys in general don’t seem to have the firearms background of the others.
I may very well get flamed by a lot of AF guys, but I’ve probably never shot with them.”

AF enlisted get just a couple days of weapons in basic training. That covers the M4/etc and the service handgun.
The largest enlisted component of the AF is Security Forces. They train with service rifle and handgun, 870 Remington 12 gauge, M60 or similar crew weapon, and various small rocket launchers.
Air Force officers assigned to deployable Unit Type Codes (UTCs), which pilots are, have to qualify once every two years on a sidearm. (Was the Beretta M-9 when I was in).
Pilots aren't expected to shoot anything other than specialized equipment in the cockpit or themselves and their proficiency at the range usually leaves their ability to hit either of those targets in question.
When I went through AF BMT, M-16 qualification was done with .22LR conversions.
