You have to believe Democrats when they tell us what they want to do.
Biden, yesterday said it out loud, his mind is gone, he let out what will happen if Trump wins.

When the sentencing was delayed by Merchan until ‘after’ the election, my spidey sense said that they were going to use the sentencing as a ‘backup plan’, should Trump win... or, as Pelosi would phrase it, it’s “another arrow in their quiver”. That is, after all, how the commie left rolls.

I think you’re right; Trump has already been convicted of multiple felonies, they will that as justification for jailing him, which brings into question the certification of the electoral college vote in Congress which coincidently will be chaired by the person who Trump would have defeated in the election.
I am fully aware all the convictions are bogus, the Democrats will not slowdown one bit because of that.
I think everyone needs to realize there is no level the Democrats won’t go to in order to keep Trump from becoming POTUS, whatever crazy idea you can conceive is a possibility.

here is the thing...I doubt I could ever shot anybody. and most could not either..so here we are.

The state charges against Trump would require that he be extradited from Florida if he chose not to go to New York. If Governor DeSantis or his attorney general refused to honor an extradition order, that would require Federal intervention to arrest Trump for sentencing in New York. At that point, DeSantis could use the state police or the Florida National Guard to prevent the Feds from arresting Trump. Then we have Fort Sumter 2.0. A large portion of the Federal military is overseas under commitments to NATO, Taiwan, South Korea, Israel, etc. Biden has the option of Federalizing the state National Guards, as Eisenhower and Kennedy did during the desegregation era. However, the GI generation had deep loyalties to the man who led Allied forces to victory in Europe and to a man was a hero of the Pacific theater. In all likelihood, the Southern state National Guardsmen were pro-segregation but obeyed orders out of respect for Eisenhower and Kennedy as well as patriotism.
The "Greatest Generation" are 99.9% gone in 2024. The legacy media and the entertainment business have lost much of their control over a large minority, even perhaps a small majority, of the population. Look at how whatever the liberal media or left wing prosecutors and judges throw at Trump, the needle barely moves in favor of Biden and now Harris. Assuming other states follow De Santis' lead, we could have numerous states in defiance of Washington. (This is a big assumption, as Georgia and Tennessee have RINO governors and Kentucky and North Carolina Democratic ones.) However, this would not merely be a regional defiance but one covering the Plains states and the Northern Rocky Mountain states.
