A word-wrestling confrontation that marked the end of Bret Baier’s Fox News interview with Kamala Harris was cut short by her staff, Baier said after the interview.
Baier was pressing Harris about her position on the Middle East as he indicated he was being told that the interview had reached its end.
“They’re giving me a hard wrap here,” Baier said at the end of the testy exchange with Harris,
...
“I’m talking to like four people, waving their hands like, ‘It’s gotta stop!” Baier said
...
“I had to dismount there, at the end,” he said.
...
The ending capped an evening in which Baier believed Harris and her team brought gamesmanship to the interview
...
“It was a little tense. We were given the time of 5 p.m. ET. Obviously my show is at 6 p.m. They wanted to tape at 5 p.m.,” he said.
“We said we were going to tape as live, in other words roll the tape and just turn that around unedited, uninterrupted, but we had to do it before 5:15, otherwise we couldn’t turn the whole machine around before the top of the 6 p.m. show,” .
...
So we were waiting at 4:55, and then 5:00, and 5:05 and 5:10,....
“At 5:17 the vice president walked out, so it did feel a little bit like they were icing the kicker ... referring to a football strategy of trying to deliberately keep an opposing team’s kicker waiting for a big field goal attempt.
...
She came to Fox News, and she wanted to go after Donald Trump — [a] viral moment that plays on a lot of other channels and on social media. And I think she may have gotten that,” he said.

“Dismount”, eh?
Great double entendre!
Bret: Can you stay maybe ten more minutes?
Kamala: No way, dude. I am outta’ here.
Aide: ‘ere the dust has settled in our tracks
we’ll be gone.
(From the translated Russian folk song Proschai—meaning “goodbye.”)
At the end, Harris, in condescending tone, looks at Brett and says “thank you for your time “as if he is the one who cut it short. Her fans will believe that because what Brett said does not make it clear that it was Kamala’s people cutting it short.
The words “dismount” and “Kamala Harris” should never be used together in a sentence.
He had to “pull out” of the interview.
If Baier was at all smart, he would have stayed in the saddle and forced her handlers to remove her. But that’s just the Marine in me. Yeah, he ain’t a Marine.
Kamala railed hard during interview, huffs and runs.
Harris cannot even handle answering a couple of direct questions without blowing a gasket-—how is she going to deal with World Leaders on the Global Stage? Obviously we here on FR know that, but seriously, the average John and Jane Q Public cannot look at this interview and realize...”ummm, yea, she is kind of a loose cannon and NOT of sound judgment and temperament, I do not think voting THIS for President is a good idea”
ick
Harris had a good head of steam there at the climax her little game. She’s a nasty piece of work. Trump is right - JaBiden and his wife, the prestigious pediatric physician, DOCTOR Jill Biden must hate Harris with the fury of a thousand suns.
Well, when you’re interviewing the town bike...
But Fox News wants to be soft on kommieLa (in case the Democrats again manage to steal the election). Fox wants the option of being able to interview President kommieLa Harris for the next 8 years of her Presidency. (Either she's the President for 0 years ... or 8 years ... it's that simple.) All these illegal immigrants in the last 4 years in all the swing states will be voting in the 2028 election ... for the Democrat.
I wasn’t going to say it should never be used in conjunction with her name
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
If we see a repeat of 2020, I predict that all bets are off.
I saw that, and thought it seemed strange.
Now I know why.
She was born a poor black child, you know.
Just like Steve Martin.
Does she know the difference between shit and Shinola?
That’s probably the first time a man was forced to dismount Harris.
