Israel has vowed a response to the attack, which saw over 180 missiles fired at Israel, killing a single Palestinian in the West Bank. The US has reportedly offered Israel a "compensation package" if it refrains from attacking certain targets in Iran, according to a report in Kan11 on Sunday.
Amichai Stein told them that he had received reports from US officials that the US had offered Israel a "compensation package" if it refrained from hitting specific targets in Iran.

When it comes to elitists in America, a recent study has shown that they are wildly out of touch with the average, everyday American people on a lot of issues such as freedom and the economy.
A project was recently conducted by prominent pollster Scott Rasmussen titled “Elite 1 Percent” goes into detail about who the one percent are and what their views are regarding American policies.
According to the project, the elite one percent live in densely populated urban areas, make over $150K a year and have a postgraduate degree.
“Too much freedom?”
“The views and influence of the Elite 1% may be the root cause of the political toxicity in our nation today,” Rasmussen wrote on the social media platform, X. “Their underlying attitudes reflect an implicit rejection of the ideal that governments derive their only just authority from the consent of the governed.” Some of the basics that Rasmussen observed is that the “elites” identify as Democrats, by 73%, more than half of them being between the ages of 35 and 54.
‘Rasmussen found in his study that 47% of the elite one percent think that Americans have “too much freedom.”
“The Elite 1% wield a tremendous amount of institutional power but are wildly out of touch with the nation they want to rule,” he said.
“Over the years they have built institutions and mechanisms of regulatory power that are immune to the checks and balances of elections. Worse still, these same elites own, operate, and control a large majority of media outlets, blocking out the true voice of the American people and broadcasting their own out of touch viewpoints,” he continued.
Another difference between everyday Americans and the elite one percent is that 70% of the elite trust the government to make the right decisions.
Trust in government
In April of 2024, a study came out that said only about 22% of Americans trust the federal government.
“Trust in government began eroding during the 1960s, amid the escalation of the Vietnam War, and the decline continued in the 1970s with the Watergate scandal and worsening economic struggles,” the Pew Research Center said in the report. “As of April 2024, 22% of Americans say they trust the government in Washington to do what is right “just about always” (2%) or “most of the time (21%) that report said.
Rasmussen posits that many of the elites are unaware of the thought gap between them and everyday American people.

Funny how we back Ukraine (Not sovereign, not a democracy) nearly unconditionally, but where this war was caused by us (NATO E. expansion), is entirely unnecessary (no national security interest served), and will end in a very predictable way regardless of how much we waste there. Our military assistance to Ukraine merely buys time but will not change the outcome.
Then we give little sprinkles of aid to Israel, and leverage that to make them do what we think is appropriate. Even though in this conflict Israel really was attacked “unprovoked,” by an enemy taking hostages, hiding behind protected sites and civilians... and Israel BTW really is a democracy and sovereign.

In most of the world, people remember, even after many generations. But in the US, you can kill its people and 30 years later it’ll be forgotten. Like it never happened. In fact, these old memories may stand in the way of new ideas for some young politician and his advisors who never lived in the Middle East, don’t know the language, culture, history, never even served in the military or have any experience in the intel community. In fact, they may not even have lived in the US when many of these things happened to American citizens and military personnel.
We have people who chase opinion polls, and the Palestinian side was off to a good start, so our leadership leans somewhat their direction.
Our leaders (some of them) write speeches and think if they say it, it’s true. Like God, they speak things into existence (at least in their own mind).
Hamas and Hezbollah are terrorist organizations (period). These people have killed many Americans over the years as well. What is going on in the minds of those people here today sympathizing with these folks?
This isn’t like Nazi Germany where the regime craved in and an all new nation was created (Heck, most Germans never even really supported Hitler, it’s a parliamentary system and he had the majority with 32% of the votes). It isn’t like the Soviet Union which ceased to exist in 1991 and an a all new nation was created, Russia which has a new constitution, privatized much, and and and. In the Israel - Palestinian conflict one side is the same actor which killed Americans years ago, who have the same goals, method of operation, foreign backers today as they had 40 years ago.
It’s great that America can reinvent itself, change over time, that can be a strength (adapt with an always changing environment). But it is also a weakness when you have no memory or can be easily convinced that there are 26 genders, etc. We are a nation with a weak culture and short memory. We can be told that homo is cool and within 12 years make a 180 degree course change because what we believe is very malleable (religion, cultural norms, the laws).
