JD Vance Tops Tim Walz in First Post-Debate Polling
Breitbart ^ | 10/02/2024 | Simon Kent

Sen. JD Vance’s (R-OH) regard for the facts appeared to help him out perform the sugar-coated whimsy of Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) during Tuesday night’s vice presidential debate.

At least, that is the opinion of those polled immediately after the showdown by CBS News, which hosted the forum.

According to the CBS poll as seen by the Hill, 42 percent of debate watchers say Vance, a Yale-trained lawyer, won the debate.

Walz trails closely behind with 41 percent of viewers saying he was victorious. About 17 percent said it was a tie.

I think Elmer Fudd is a perfect take.

Except Elmer Fudd was innocuous. Walz has the ability to hurt a lot of people.

42 to 41? I suspect they polled a lot of people who claimed to have watched the debate but didn’t.

Yep. Walz is like a MEAN, drunk, Elmer Fudd. Heaven forbid he ever gets his hands on a shotgun.

42-41 is total nonsense.

If it was not for an apologetic and tepid abortion response, he would have crushed Timpon.

Still, I’d rather have Walz drunk, angry, and armed than Rutger Hauer. Walz would probably shoot his own foot off before he winged anybody else.

“42 percent of debate watchers say Vance, a Yale-trained lawyer, won the debate.

So basically it was a tie, it will end up having no effect on the election.

Butch Walz - the cowed, tranq’d-up, bulldog waiting to get fixed in the vet’s office.

An actual tie would have been promoted as an overwhelming Dem win, so I see it as a tacit admission that they lost and are trying to limit any damage.

Apparently, the bar was low here for Vance, he just had to prove he’s likeable. Whoever won on debating points, Vance focus on being likeable was clear, maybe that’s what he figured on.

Some say he looks like Don Rickles...Rickles was funny and sarcastic. I THINK he looks more like that HALE-BOPP comet Marshal Applewhite, who was not funny and was definitely nuts!

He crushed Walz, quit looking at the polling. He did a great service for the Trump campaign and the Trump campaign is thrilled about it. He showed people that the weird one was Walz and he did the job that the Trump campaign wanted him to do. He is getting high fives from people we didn’t expect it from.

Excellent and this is behind us and we move forward to getting Kamala out.

If CBS News and The Hill say that Vance won by a little, then Vance won by a lot.

I watched the FNC post-debate analysis, and while all opined that Walz didn’t totally blow it, even the two lefty lackeys Brit Hume and Harold Ford Jr. agreed that Vance was the one that carried the night.

Maybe it’s not a percentage; maybe it’s the actual count of those who watched.
