A new North Carolina survey found state Attorney General Josh Stein (D) has a double-digit lead over Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R) in the gubernatorial race.
The survey was conducted following an explosive report from CNN that alleged Robinson made many offensive statements on a porn site more than 10 years ago, calling himself a “black NAZI,” among other comments.
The Marist poll finds Stein leading with 54 percent support compared to Robinson’s 43 percent.
Compared to a Marist survey from March, Robinson has lost 5 percentage points among North Carolina voters.
The survey found Stein’s backers are more committed than Robinson’s, though 80 percent of respondents with a candidate preference said they strongly support their candidate of choice.

Yeah, Trump endorsed Robinson early and ended any chance of a good candidate. Put this in the Hershel Walker, Mehmet Oz, Kari Lake bad human judgement category.

Robinson doesn’t belong to be lumped in with those people, and endorsing him was no evidence of a flaw on Trump’s part. We wouldn’t even be talking about this if it weren’t for a fake scandal.
One would think that a DC-born liberal Harvard boy would be a tough sell among North Caroliners. However, there has been an influx of Blue Staters in recent years, and they are probably bringing their politics with them.

Its simpler than that. RINO Thom Tillis, whose Senate term ends in 2026, wants to run for Governor of NC in 2028.
You have to understand NC pubbies spend more time stabbing each other in the back than they do going after dims.
