“His blood stained executioner’s clothes, axes, and guillotines remain on display today at the Criminology museum at the Oratory of the Banner building in Central Rome.”
I used to live near Balboa Park, which is and amazing park & museum in San Diego, CA. My then-husband was in the Navy at the time, so I had long stretches of time to entertain myself when I wasn’t working.
For some UNKNOWN REASON Balboa Park had a ‘display’ of all likes of torture/death devices as well as real, still-functioning guillotines. It was HORRIFIC and I remember it to this day.
But, you know, ‘Forget it, Jake. It’s California.’ *SHUDDER*
Andera Yates was suffering from post partum when she drowned her 5 babies. Susan Smith never claimed post partum. As for teenagers, I just watched the Menendez boys Netflix, Monsters. It’s better to get them before they get you.
Yates was acting.
Never heard of it but around 1967 I went to the Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum in NYC. Saw torture devices.
Friend of mine’s mother is a retired coroner. She did the autopsies on Smith’s boys.
“It’s better to get them before they get you.”
LOL! ;)
You read my mind and expressed my sentiments exactly, to the letter.
I just want people to stop killing kids.
And I think prompt execution of the people who kill kids would aid in this goal.
I know they want me to cry and be all emotional over the killers but I can't. Because killing kids, especially your own kids, is something that should not be encouraged.
Is there a HIGH grade psychopath? Susan Smith didn't let her kids "just live their lives". She shouldn't get the chance either.
Sorry, that is incorrect.
They gave her a minimum 30 year sentence.
She is eligible for parole in November 2024.
I remember when there was a mystery about this woman. I saw it happen in my mind as they explained the story. My sister was talking about it, and I said “she drowned them” off the top of my head. I don’t know how I knew, but I did know as if I was the news report from a few days later. Weirdest thing ever happened to me.
Life in Prison with a possibility of parole after 30 years.
Ms. Smith should not confuse possibility of parole with probability of parole.
Ms. Smith, it is possible you get paroled, but it is not probable.
Susan Smith's life before the murders was chaotic.
Her father committed suicide when she was six.
As a teenager, Smith tried to kill herself twice, and she was diagnosed with a mental disorder.
Good for you. I don’t believe anyone. The thing that gave it away for me was when she accused a black man of carjacking with her kids in the car. That would have been the first carjacking ever in Union County, in the middle of no where, little town SC, where everybody knows everybody. Of course cars are stolen, but for a black man to yank a white lady with kids out of the car and drive off? Impossible.
She should spend forever in hell.
