On Thursday’s broadcast of CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg stated that building eight electric vehicle charging stations so far under the Inflation Reduction Act’s $7.5 billion investment in electric vehicle charging stations is “on track.” Because most construction will occur in the second half of the decade.

Co-host Joe Kernen asked, “[O]ur designs on electrification of the auto industry, have we recalibrated there? And I’ll just give you one item and you can — maybe you can explain why, but under the Inflation Reduction Act, 7.5 billion for building these charging stations. The latest information, eight have been built with the 7.5 billion that had been allocated. You’re supposed to get to 500,000 of these charging stations by 2030. What is really the problem with — do you — have you looked at that and figured out why?”

If this was a private company doing this there would be lawsuits flying. Buttigieg is a POS.

The real intent was NOT TO BUILD.

the intent was to spend, spend, spend.

It’s what democrats do best.

Everybody knows that democrats don’t build and their goals are ALWAYS spread ‘the wealth’, and the inflation reduction act was and is a waste, and intended to be so.

For those 8 EV chargers, there were likely people working to just collect checks, and for companies to pretend they were accomplishing something, and for the government to pretend they were doing the country a favor. Buttiegieg cannot defend the waste, so, he has to pretend that it was a good thing, even if he knows that it’s one of the biggest boondoggles in history.

The media nods in agreement, and the public either ignores, or cheers.

What a world.

‘For large, high-altitude bursts (greater than 5km above ground level) the electric fields generated in high-altitude EMP are complex and may exist over a large area (perhaps the size of Nebraska or larger), damaging or disrupting unprotected electronic devices.’

A real big vulnerability for defending our U.S.A. , m’thinks....

“You’re supposed to get to 500,000 of these charging stations by 2030”

Somehow I doubt he’s going to build the remaining 499,992 charging stations within the next 6 years.

My previous guess for the economic collapse of the United States was in 15 years. Unmanageable federal debt, hyperinflation, etc.

But after reading this article, I’m thinking we might not survive the first term of a Kamala Harris presidency.

And the GOP elite, who could have put a brake on all this…I’d better not comment. It would get me thrown off this site.

Ole’ Bootyjuice wouldn’t know how to use an electrical charging station since it requires putting a “male” end of an electrical plug into the “female” end of an electrical receptor. He has not proficiently practiced the male/female thing.

None of this is funny...it is criminal. The government sociopathic criminals need to be held accountable. Hopefully, they will be enjoying time at hard labor or experiences most appropriate to their treasonous behavior.
