Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman (MBS), said Wednesday that there would be no “normalization” of relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state — a reversal of his position one year ago.
In September 2023, as Breitbart News reported, MBS said that he wanted to see a “good life” for Palestinians emerge from any peace deal with Israel, but specifically excluded mention of a Palestinian state. While the Saudi foreign minister insisted on a Palestinian state, MBS — the real source of power in the kingdom — pointedly did not.
But the Biden administration reportedly intervened, insisting that a Palestinian state be included in any Saudi-Israeli deal.

The Palestinians do not want a two state solution but are content with one state, so long as there are no Jews in it. Genocide is the only solution they care about. Why are they never criticized about it?

They continue to support Israel, even though they might lecture them more than Trump did, but no more than other previous administrations have done.
Saudi Arabia can change its foreign policy if it wants to. They have changed their foreign policy, but not based on anything the current administration did, failed to do, said, or failed to say.

Hopefully, war can be avoided, and a new Trump administration can add Saudi to the Abraham Accords.
Saudis do not give a rats *** what Biden or Harris want. The Prince will do what is in the best interest of his country.
At this point he needs to make token PR to show solidarity with the “cause” but in reality the last thing Saudis or any country wants is another terrorist state in the neighborhood.
I expect Saudis will make peace with Israel within 3 years of the end of the war. There is simply too much for them to gain and little to lose. And they will be grateful when the IDF neutralizes the Houthis (as US military is apparently incapable of doing).
