A second wave of blasts rocked Hezbollah on Wednesday as thousands of radios and other devices used by the terror group were detonated across Lebanon, security sources and witnesses said.
Additional explosions were reported throughout the capital of Beirut and in the country’s south following Tuesday’s massive security breach that caused Hezbollah pagers to explode, killing at least 12 people and injuring another 2,800.
Some thousands of personal walkie-talkie radios were targeted in Wednesday’s operation, sources told Axios reporter Barak Ravid, which were all ordered from the terror group five months ago, around the same time as the deadly pagers.

I know a bunch of people will tell me it’s impossible and it doesn’t work that way, I’m just throwing out an idea I heard on a podcast yesterday.
We know the Israeli Cyber Capabilities are some of the best in the world, maybe the best in certain areas.
Maybe Israel has figured out how to make Lithium explode remotely either thru modifying the firmware on the devices or thru some other method and the explosion can be triggered remotely.
Many models of pagers and handheld radios use lithium batteries and somehow Israel has managed to get the devices to explode thru some type of remote control.
Taking apart over 3000 pagers and radios, implanting an explosive substance and reassembling the devices is a monumental task, altering the firmware of software on the devices is a much easier task.
Maybe it’s impossible to make Lithium explode but if you could think of the ramifications, anything with a lithium battery could theoretically be turned into a bomb and could be detonated remotely.
Talk about throwing panic and fear into your enemy.
I have to admit, I’m enjoying this.

Pagers… Pagers are such old technology that my auto correct did even know what one was lol. Next they need to send Rolodex’s with C4 in the spindle.
Whatever the outcome of Israeli/Arab conflict, this is going to live on history for a long time as a model of covert action.
If I were in Hezbollah I also would avoid the white courtesy phones.

Actually, that’s true...the population in the Muslim areas is very low-IQ. I’ve always wondered if it’s “nature or nurture,” that is, no matter your IQ, a culture like that would drag you down to subnormal level.
