Governor Wes Moore (D-MD) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that a quarter of black men under 50 said they would support the Republican candidate in this year’s election because of “frustration of the pace of progress in America.”

Partial transcript as follows:

MARGARET BRENNAN: I want to ask you about the Harris campaign, because you are out campaigning for them, and there’s a big push in the coming days to focus in on black voters in particular. The NAACP released a poll on Friday that showed while black Americans overwhelmingly identify as Democrats, over one quarter of black men under 50 said they would support the Republican candidate in this year’s election. Why do you think that younger male black voters are changing their association like this?

Maybe because the Democrat party treats black people like crap and wants to keep them tied down with welfare and hopelessness? Ever think of that?? 🙄

Black men leaning republican because the white man isn't being brought down quick enough? Lmao.

black men are leaving the government plantation, is president Harris going to declare war on the areas where Blacks live who wont stay on the plantation?

Democrats can't stand an educated negro thinking outside the government dependence box.

“And so I think the frustration that people feel is real, but I think the thing that we’re continuing to push to a lot of voters, particularly African American voters, is that Donald Trump is a vessel to the skepticism, but what he is not is actually a vehicle for the solution.”

I think the illegal immigration inflicted on us by the dems is a factor.

The blacks are seeing what are normally their bennies now go to illegals. The American black as been pushed to the back of the bus again, this time by the democrats for the illegals.

Frustration of the Pace of the Process? Hell, there is NO pace, period. Young black men have been lied to since the 64 Civil Rights Act into getting on the Democrat Vote Plantation and remain there - with nothing but promises and BS..

What’s even worse now is that Democrats have figured out they can get what they want from the millions of illegals they are ushering into this country. So you’d better get used to less welfare because it all has to go to illegals now. Say thank you to the Democrats.

"Pace of progress." Where do I begin?

I would like to know the pace of blacks getting an education and showing up to class and studying and the pace of blacks not getting pregnant/impregnating and getting on welfare, the pace of staying off drugs, the pace of avoiding criminality.

Don't lecture the government about the pace of anything when YOU yourselves have not helped yourselves.

If he's interested in furthering the pace of progress for Black people in America, he'll become a Republican right now.

He is a commie libtard with a progressive agenda. That's his motivation.

They never define what progress is. It is more like regression is all democrats have to offer.
