CNN anchor Abby D. Phillip on Wednesday sought to justify the presidential debate moderators’ uneven fact-checking of former President Donald Trump and not Vice President Kamala Harris, despite her numerous lies.
“Just fyi: when there is asymmetrical lying, there will be asymmetrical fact checking,” Abby D. Phillip posted on X.
Her post came in response to criticism from the right over ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis’s constantly fact-checking Trump and letting Harris skirt by with falsehoods.

Thing about Trumps claims is very often he is eventually proven right.

Have you noticed?; Linsey Davis looks a lot like Kamala, at first glance. How interesting that she was one of the anchors chosen to moderate the debate. Subliminal persuasion?
I think President Trump accomplished a lot by agreeing to do a rigged debate.
They don’t realize more and more people are onto them - it was so obviously rigged this time it made them look bad.
They thought they were setting him up - provoking him to lose his cool - to look like he’s bullying a woman. Instead, he was setting them up to gang up on him 3 against 1 with the whole world watching.
I’d say their attempt to set him up backfired big time.
On a side note, didn’t Kam La La mistakenly refer DJT as ‘vice president’?
I compare it to lawfare where it becomes so laughable (even though it is of serious danger to Trumps life), but its so laughable in a political context, the public handwaves it.
Think ABC mods being such shills will backfire, certainly on their rep, but also in terms of ‘helping’ Harris. I expect to see tied or polls a point or so in one direction or the other in a week.
