Tim Walz is “grateful” that Taylor Swift, the pop star phenomenon, has endorsed his and Vice President Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign ahead of the 2024 election.
Just moments after Harris wrapped her first debate with Donald Trump in Philadelphia on Tuesday, the 14-time Grammy winner revealed she will be circling Harris’ name on the ballot later this year.
“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” Swift, 34, said on Instagram.
The endorsement was welcome news to Walz, who praised the singer’s “courage” to speak out.

When “American Idol” came out, I figured the little twits that tuned in every week to vote for their favorites...and as many times as they want!...would one day be a significant voting bloc.
Taylor made a big mistake IMHO. No one will care about her endorsement in a few days from now. She just spent a lot of capital for nothing. She should have waited.
I think we should go for the Britney Spears endorsement. It would be great psych-ops. Or that Urkel kid. He is trending.

Covid was a real eye opener for me as to just how weak minded millions of people are in this country.

The only person of my acquaintance that I would call a Swifty was a weird little toad-like boy in high school. Comb-over, Coke bottle glasses, and you just knew his mom picked out all of his clothes. Comic book nerd his whole adult life. Fast-forward 40 years, and he comes out as “trans.“ He’s about as wide as tall, and had a foot amputated, but I’ll bet he does his level best to prance around to Taylor’s music.
I wonder how Taylor Swift feels about horses.

I heard “yes” about two weeks ago - then nothing else.
His handlers don’t want him on the debate stage - they agreed to ONE debate for Harris instead of the usual three between POTUS candidates, and it had to be on a “friendly” network, which it was, she refused to go on Fox.
Vance, IMO, is a better debater than Trump and will make mincemeat out of the hapless, lying Walz.
